Questions for Islam?
Who was the first muslim?
Verse from Quran saying moses was first muslim:
"And when Moses came to our appointed tryst and his Lord had spoken unto him, he said: My Lord! Show me (Thy Self), that I may gaze upon Thee. He said: Thou wilt not see Me, but gaze upon the mountain! If it stand still in its place, then thou wilt see Me, and when his Lord revealed (His) glory to the mountain He sent it crashing down. And Moses fell down senseless. And when he woke he said: Glory unto Thee! I turn unto Thee repentant, and I amn the first of (true) believers."
OK SO MOSES WAS THE FIRST MUSLIM ACCORDING TO THE QURAN (KORAN) BUT THERE IS ANOTHER VERSE SAYING MUHAMMAD WAS THE FIRST MUSLIM ????????????
Verse 39:12 (This is Muhammad speaking in this verse)
"And I am commanded to be the first of those who are Muslims (surrender unto Him)"
So who was it?? Moses or Muhammad???
Before the angel of light was going to appear to him who was Muhammad worshiping? If it is Allah how did he know of Allah before the angel appeared?
What did Muhammad do to prove he was a prophet!! Every prophet in the bible proved they were a prophet by prophesying something or performing a miracle! What did Muhammad do?
Is Allah forgiving?
Quran Verse that says yes:
"Yet whoso doeth evil or wrongeth his own soul, then seeketh pardon of Allah, will find Allah Forgiving, Merciful."
Quran Verse that say no:
"Lo! those who disbelieve and deal in wrong, Allah will never forgive them, neither will He guide them unto a road,"
NOTE THE WORD NEVER! The Wikipedia definition of never is "At no time" So even if I convert to Islam according to this verse at no time will I be forgiven.
Last but not least let us ask this:
How can we accurately prove a prophet from the Bible or the Quran is truly a prophet of God?
Observe whether or not the predictions of future deeds of people in recorded history are accurately fulfilled.
Based on that "It is fairly clear that the Bible manifests the attribute of having many specifically fulfilled prophetic predictions, which constitutes powerful evidence that the Bible truly originates from true prophets of the true almighty God. The Bible meets the challenge which God (YHWH) set out: To predict events of human history. --- In contrast, however, there does not seem to be a single specific prediction of human history in the Qur'an which is unique and original to the Qur'an and was not found in the Bible first (such as some end-time judgment concepts). This lack of predictive power is an announcement that the Qur'an does not clearly demonstrate God's power and authority within its pages. It fails to meet God's challenge."
