If there were any cryptography the NSA couldn't break in a time frame that wouldn't impede their investigations, I doubt they'd allow it to be used. They'd buy it/threaten it/sue it out of existence.

The volume alone would mandate scanning by computer looking for key words or phrases and then those that were a "hit" would be further studied by real analysts. The computer power and hours to scan all emails incoming and outgoing must be hrrendous. But it could be done - just an incredible waste and squandering of taxpayer's money, IMHO.

Fortunately the computer cannot get bored reading the exchange of notes between teenagers when one of them thinks they are in love.

Anyone who puts anything in writing on the internet should expect it can be read in the event of national security. Same for phone calls with keywords.

This has been a well know fact since the MILITARY developed the internet. We use it because they made it exist.

I don't think they have the time or people to read every single email from everyone. Probably reading people they find suspecious or who set off the keyword alert.

So as long as you're not doing internet searches on how to build bombs and making calls to the middle east all the time, you should be fine.

Certain key words, like was suggested sure. Even then I bet 99% of those when look at are removed as unimportant. Unless you are plotting something drastic. You would not be on anyone's radar.

I can understand what youre saying, but the fact of the matter is what they're doing is unconstitutional. Our contract specifically states that I can be free in my person, home and belongings against unreasonable search and seizure. Blanket tracking of everyones whereabouts is an obvious breaking of the contract.

Therefore, all is null and void, and I should not be subject to an unconstitutional government. I have done nothing wrong, and should be free to go about my business without the threat of violence. But try not paying your taxes and see how long it takes to receive said threat.

What seems to be the push by the fascists is, you're selfish if you want your constitutional rights. Freedom is selfish. Slavery is good.
