I would certainly support that God has already determined what is going to happen, I do question many of the attempts at the understanding that is placed on some parts, even to what Jews believe all the way back to Ge:1:1.
If what the OT meant was already determined as far back as the end of the exile to Neb's Babylon then the whole NT is not taken into consideration when God put all words there because that is His message, all Scripture rather than a selection you feel comfortable with and ignore the rest. Case in point, Isaiah 65 has some being killed by a sword and then experiencing torment, that is a 1 time deal in the whole Bible. The sword in Re:19 is the same sword and it is made known that they will be punished for 1,000 years. That time can be transferred to Isaiah so when you read it they die, experience the things listed for the 1,000 years and then are resurrected and it is them that are building the houses and living in them. The servants in Isaiah 65 would normally be thought to be the ones building but their home is already built for them. The ones that are the 'servants' are going to all be alive for the whole 1,000 years and they will be a static population and Zec:14 is what they do. They also become witnesses to Satan being sent to the fiery lake. The view is from a safe distance (verse below) and they then enter New Jerusalem while the ones that will be building (outside the city). They will have that huge city as being their home for eternity and they will be Priest and Kings to those who will be 'in the Nations'.

The holy land is no better than anyplace if God is not there Himself, maybe even worse once you consider that the area in Ge:2 was without moisture until Adam was alive, the rest of the planet went through it's changes starting at the end of day 1 some 4BYA. If moisture was denied the place again then the area defined by the rivers, Euphrates marking the northern border then the land would be the unkindest on the whole planet (Eden)until Jesus returns. Certainly nothing to die for and take away the money spent on war equipment and then maybe you can turn it a bit greener with productive land. (pine forests are to hide the recent history so the trees are only a fire hazard) Try running that past the Rothschild Banksters and see how far it flies. (brought to them on the end of a sharp fence-post and they won't resit at all)

God then goes on to give an escape plan (Luke 21:24)to get Jews out of the way of the Roman Army who is sent by God to take the Temple down so Satan and other fallen angels cannot set a throne in His temple. Scripture can't even use the name Jerusalem in the verses when Satan has control of the city for a period of 4 days, the rest of the planet is ruled over for 3 1/2 years.
Even before then just before the Scripture were taught to the Gentiles God made all Gentile food clean (Acts 10), something He didn't do for the true exile into Babylon.

The earth is home to the 1st heaven, past our clouds is the 2nd heaven (universe) then the void of Ge:1 and the the 3rd heaven, the home of God and the place the GWT event takes place. Just as men are given a new earth the holy Angels get a new Heaven, Hebrews 12 puts them as being in that 3rd heaven so that is going to be their new home for eternity. Men will take over the whole univers as being the whole of the new earth and over eternity what happened in Ge:1 or 2 will be happening to the places in the verse below.
