Re: Can a Christian explain this in the book of job
there is no hell. Christians are not qualified to explain anything in the corrupted bible. And the being called Satan, is not on the planet anymore, he was removed about 100 years ago. Lucifer was removed 2000 years ago. there are still plenty of dark antichrists though.
 Quoting: God Loves ALL

Okay, but that doesn't answer the question.
Why would god mess with a guy who did everything right, worshipped god, etc etc.
surely god should have been protecting Job not getting satan to take everything, kill his kids, and strike him down with boils from head to toe.

I mean seriously, what sort of a god lets that happen?

OP, "God Loves All" is not a christian, she is a new ager who promotes many lies and deceptions of satan.

She knows nothing of Christianity or the Bible.

Sorry Everyone tries to answer with long winded poetic writings but never really give you a clear answer. They don't really know the answer but don't want to fall short either. Keep silent.

The Sons of God are The Angels of the Lord and Satan was also among them.

These Angels are the same that go throughout the Earth guiding some and fighting against others. As is mentioned in Daniel about Gabriel and the prince of Persia (both Angels)
Angels Guide and Persuade men to do the Will of God both Good and Evil as God deems necessary for our benefit.

Do you want to know what it is like in Heaven? How the Angels interact with God? How Satan came about?

Then Study the Book of Esther. This book is similar to those pictures that have pictures hidden within and if you stare at it long enough you begin to see what the picture is.

All though Esther is based off of actual events. These events happened in order to give a physical picture of spiritual events.

Ill give you a hint to Start with.
The King in Esther is God
Haman is Satan.

Job will become clearer after reading and understanding what Esther is.

Anyway God does know what Job will do but Satan does not. God proves Satan Wrong. This is for all of our benefit. So that we Understand how Satan works and interacts with God. Trying and testing us Constantly. The same thing happens to us everyday on a smaller scale.

Because Satan looks for self justification in showing that we also have fault. Just like every human I've ever met when making a mistake we look to find fault in others to justify ourselves.

Satan's End is Death and he wants to Turn his sentence around or bring all of Gods children with him in the process. Our Conscience Condemns us and it is our conscience that will hold us in hell. In other words Free your mind and Free your spirit.

Walking To and Fro.
Answer is he is Free to wander anywhere in the earth North, South, East and West. Satan has power over the earth. However this power is God given. Remember David and Bathsheba? The Prophet comes to David and Says In his Parable that a Traveler came to the Rich man. Satan is the Traveler, walking To and Fro.

But read Esther if you can get the real meaning of it then So much will be cleared up in understanding God and how He works.

I think I understand job now, it's about believing unwaveringly in god no matter what.
But the bit I don't understand is that Job had faith through all this that god would help and protect him, he never faltered once, and yet god didn't do anything to help, that's the bit I don't get.
Esther is a whole new deal.
I thought Esther was about how the queen who convinced the king of Persia to spare the Jews from anhialation and turned the tables on the plotters that Mordacai had uncovered no?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15695099

Jobs Faith wasn't in that he would protect him or his children or things. his faith was in that God would save him from Death.

The Plot of Esther, you are correct for the physical world. but the Mirror plot is the spiritual world and in it you can see that:
1: what God says cannot be changed for example the sentence of death to man for the sin of Adam. This Cannot Be Changed.

However God found a Way to Save us By Having Jesus fulfill that decree.

2: Satan was lifted up with Pride which was his down fall. And the Decrees he had God impose were actually turned upon himself.

Another important aspect in Job is to understand that not everything said is true with God. Remember His friends were incorrect and had done wrong in what they had said.
Many so called Christian Preachers are wrong in teaching otherwise.

Esther 1

1 Now it came to pass in the days of Ahasuerus (God The Father) (this was the Ahasuerus who reigned over one hundred and twenty

Description: world Map with Latitude and Longitude
(Earth has 120 zones of 30 degrees and seven continents)

-seven provinces, from India (The body of water) to Ethiopia), (Mixed races)2 in those days when King Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom, which was in Shushan the citadel, (The Kingdom Of Heaven, The High Tower) 3 that in the third year of his reign he made a feast for all his officials and servants—the powers of Persia and Media, (Sin and death) the nobles, and the princes of the provinces being before him— 4 when he showed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the splendor of his excellent majesty for many days, one hundred and eighty days in all.
5 And when these days were completed, the king made a feast lasting seven days (The time from the finished creation to the end of time) for all the people who were present in Shushan the citadel, from great to small, in the court of the garden of the king’s palace. (Eden) 6 There were white and blue linen curtains (Gods’ Holy presence) fastened (Secured) with cords of fine linen (Holiness) and purple (Royalty) on silver rods and marble pillars; and the couches were of gold and silver (Purity and sin) on a mosaic (A pattern) pavement (The surface of the earth is a mosaic) of alabaster, (Clay) turquoise, (The great seas) 7 And they served drinks in golden vessels, (HOLINESS) each vessel being different from the other, with royal wine in abundance, according to the generosity of the king. 8 In accordance with the law, the drinking was not compulsory; for so the king had ordered all the officers of his household, that they should do according to each man’s pleasure. (Choose you this day whom you will serve)
9 Queen Vashti (The old covenant) also made a feast for the women (The Seven Candlesticks) in the royal palace which belonged to King Ahasuerus. (The Head = God The Father)
10 On the seventh day, (Creation was completed) when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, (The multitudes) Biztha, (That are bound) Harbona, (His destruction, His Sword) Bigtha, (The gift of God) Abagtha, (The Father of the Winepress) Zethar, (Who examines and beholds) and Carcas, (The covering of The Lamb) seven eunuchs who served in the presence of King Ahasuerus, (God The Father) 11 to bring Queen Vashti (The old covenant/ the law of sin and death) before the king, wearing her royal crown, (The Ten Commandments) in order to show her beauty to the people and the officials, for she was beautiful to behold. 12 But Queen Vashti refused to come at the king’s command brought by his eunuchs; therefore the king was furious, and his anger burned within him.
13 Then the king said to the wise men who understood the times (for this was the king’s manner toward all who knew law and justice, (Who knew the law and it’s penalties) 14 those closest to him being Carshena, (The Lamb) Shethar, (Putrified and searching = sin & death) Admatha, (A cloud of death) Tarshish, (Contemplation and examination = repentance) Meres, (An abcess of pus that is inflamed = the grave) Marsena, (The bitterness of a bramble) and Memucan, (Improverished of truth = Satan) the seven princes of Persia and Media, who had access to the king’s presence, and who ranked highest in the kingdom): 15 “What shall we do to Queen Vashti, according to law, because she did not obey the command of King Ahasuerus brought to her by the eunuchs?”
16 And Memucan (Satan who is impoverished of the truth) answered before the king and the princes: “Queen Vashti has not only wronged the king, but also all the princes, and all the people who are in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus. 17 For the queen’s behavior will become known to all women, (To the seven churches) so that they will despise their husbands (The seven churches could not be faithful to God because of Vashti) in their eyes, when they report, ‘King Ahasuerus commanded Queen Vashti to be brought in before him, but she did not come.’ 18 This very day the noble ladies (The seven churches) of Persia and Media (The seven were under/ in bondage to the law of sin and death) will say to all the king’s officials that they have heard of the behavior of the queen. Thus there will be excessive contempt and wrath. (This wrath was poured out on Christ) 19 If it pleases the king, let a royal decree go out from him, and let it be recorded in the laws of the Persians and the Medes, (Recorded in the law of sin and death) so that it will not be altered, that Vashti shall come no more before King Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal position to another who is better than she. 20 When the king’s decree which he will make is proclaimed throughout all his empire (for it is great), (All creation) all wives (The seven) will honor their husbands, both great and small.” (All mankind will worship Jesus Christ)
21 And the reply pleased the king and the princes, and the king did according to the word of Memucan. (Satan) 22 Then he sent letters to all the king’s provinces, to each province in its own script, and to every people in their own language, that each man should be master in his own house, (It is appointed for a man once to die) and speak in the language of his own people. (Be Holy as I AM Holy)

Re: Can a Christian explain this in the book of job
Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?”
So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”
Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely ;curse ;You to Your face!”
And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your ;power; only do not lay a hand on his person.”
So Satan went out from the presence of The Lord.

Ok I have a few questions here.
Now Job is described as

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was;blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.

1 So why would god let satan screw up this guys life?

2 Who are the sons of god who are presenting themselves?

3 What does satan mean by going to and from on the earth and walking back and forth on it?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15695099

You may need to read the book of Enoch: plenty of your answers are there. Don't believe people that said the Book of Enoch isn't inspired. It was purposely excluded by The Roman Church.

Now a summary: in those ancient times the "sons of gods" equals very high hierarchies of angels, some of them fall, like Satan. Satan/Lucifer was one of the "sons of god" that saw God face to face. That was a privilege only reserved to the "sons of god" and the primordial man/woman. The chastisement for Satan was precisely that: to never have rest, to being between the Earth and Heaven not having rest at all and of course to never ever see God's face again. Not meaning he can't talk with God or access his Throne.

So as Lucifer become Satan, part of his decision was to accuse the man, to punish him, to try to deceive him, and to try to convince the ancient people of new Gods. Remember Satan was not alone he had millions of millions of fallen angels like him. (my guess the are at least 2 billion)

But something happened when Jesus ascended:
There was no place for Satan on the Throne, not even for a visit. At the very moment Jesus ascended, Satan descended.
Revelations said the were cast to the Earth. So now they can harm the man only by their own methods not asking permission to God to "test" them.

Jesus was the perfect Son of God, the highest of all, because he accomplished the perfect will of God and give the man the chance for restoration.
Satan and his angels are here at Earth.

Re: Can a Christian explain this in the book of job
Well Esther is about that but it has deeper meaning as do most of the books in the bible.

That's how we know its true! No one could have designed a story like the bible and have it flow together so well all the while mirroring a spiritual side.

However other books Do not have that ability and as such you can tell they are not the word of God. For example.
The book of mormon, pearl of great price, the quran, the apocrypha, the book of jasher (fake).

All those books are 1 dimensional proving they are false.

Did you know that the names in the bible from Adam up Tell the ending of the bible? Each name has meaning.

ESTHER 2

After these things, when the wrath of King Ahasuerus subsided, he remembered Vashti, what she had done, and what had been decreed against her. 2 Then the king’s servants who attended him said: “Let beautiful young virgins be sought for the king; (Let a NEW COVENANT be sought) 3 and let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather all the beautiful young virgins to Shushan the citadel, into the women’s quarters, under the custody of Hegai (“The Holy Spirit” (Meditation, Word, Groaning, Separation/ SET APART TO THE LORD) the king’s eunuch, custodian of the women. And let beauty preparations be given them. 4 Then let the young woman who pleases the king be queen instead of Vashti.” (The law of sin and death)
This thing pleased the king, and he did so.
5 In Shushan the citadel there was a certain Jew whose name was Mordecai (The WARRIOR/ Jesus Christ) the son of Jair, (MY Light Who sheds Light/ The Father) the son of Shimei, (He That hears and obeys, My reputation and fame) the son of Kish, a Benjamite. (The Son)
6 Kish (The Snare/ bird catcher/ The Bow) had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captives who had been captured with Jeconiah (God, The One Who fortifies His people) king of Judah, (PRAISE) whom Nebuchadnezzar (The world) the king of Babylon had carried away. 7 And Mordecai (Jesus Christ) had brought up Hadassah, (The Myrtle Tree/ The peace and love of God, The New Covenant) that is, Esther, (The Star/ The hidden Manna/ Word/ The new Covenant) his uncle’s daughter, for she had neither father nor mother. The young woman was lovely and beautiful. When her father and mother died, Mordecai took her as his own daughter. (When Adam and Eve died in sin mankind lost all fellowship with God and were in need of a New and Living Covenant)
8 So it was, when the king’s command and decree were heard, and when many young women were gathered at Shushan the citadel, (Heaven The High Tower) under the custody of Hegai, (Meditation, The Word, The Groaning Of The Spirit and separation from the world) that Esther also was taken to the king’s palace, into the care of Hegai the custodian of the women. 9 Now the young woman pleased him, and she obtained his favor; so he readily gave beauty preparations (Fruit of The Spirit) to her, besides her allowance. (Power and authority) Then seven choice maidservants (The Bride, The Seven Churches who needed The Door opened to Heaven) were provided for her from the king’s palace, and he moved her and her maidservants to the best place in the house of the women. (The best place is Mount Zion)
10 Esther had not revealed her people or family, for Mordecai had charged her not to reveal it. (The mystery hidden from ages and generations would be revealed at Calvary) 11 And every day Mordecai paced in front of the court of the women’s quarters, to learn of Esther’s welfare and what was happening to her.
12 Each young woman’s turn came to go in to King Ahasuerus after she had completed twelve months’ (3600 years) preparation, according to the regulations for the women, for thus were the days of their preparation apportioned: six months with oil of myrrh, (Preparation for the grave) and six months with perfumes and preparations for beautifying women. (Perfumes and preparations/ THE FRUITS OF THE HOLY GHOST were given to Her) 13 Thus prepared, each young woman went to the king, and she was given whatever she desired to take with her from the women’s quarters to the king’s palace. 14 In the evening she went, and in the morning she returned to the second house of the women, to the custody of Shaashgaz, (Jesus Christ, The One Who shears the sheep) the king’s eunuch who kept the concubines. She would not go in to the king again unless the king delighted in her and called for her by name.
15 Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail (The Father of gladness) the uncle (The source of help and advice and encouragement) of Mordecai, (Jesus) who had taken her as his daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai (Meditation, The Word, The Groaning Of The Spirit and separation from the world)
the king’s eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her. 16 So Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tebeth, (Goodness) in the seventh year of his reign. (Seven is perfection and our God lives in seven/ Eternity) 17 The king loved Esther more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. (The Father declares there will be a new Covenant) 18 Then the king made a great feast, the Feast of Esther, (The Feast of The New Covenant) for all his officials and servants; and he proclaimed a holiday in the provinces and gave gifts according to the generosity of a king. (Praise God for His generosity!!!!!!)
19 When virgins were gathered together a second time, Mordecai (Jesus Christ) sat within the king’s gate. (The Door To Heaven) 20 Now Esther had not revealed her family and her people, just as Mordecai had charged her, for Esther obeyed the command of Mordecai as when she was brought up by him.
21 In those days, while Mordecai sat within the king’s gate, two of the king’s eunuchs, Bigthan (In the press giving meat/ Desiring to kill “The Sons” flesh in the winepress) and Teresh, (Desire/ lust = SIN AND DEATH) doorkeepers, became furious and sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. 22 So the matter became known to Mordecai, who told Queen Esther, and Esther informed the king in Mordecai’s name. 23 And when an inquiry was made into the matter, it was confirmed, and both were hanged on a gallows; (Both were hanged on the Cross Of Christ) and it was written in the book of the chronicles in the presence of the king.

Re: Can a Christian explain this in the book of job
The Book of Job, in a nutshell, is all about God dealing with Job about his spiritual pride. Notice how much Job talks about himself until God finished with him in showing just how "holier than thou" he is---

Job 38

New International Version (NIV)

The Lord Speaks

38 Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said:

2 “Who is this that obscures my plans
with words without knowledge?
3 Brace yourself like a man;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.

4 “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
6 On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone—
7 while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels[a] shouted for joy?

8 “Who shut up the sea behind doors
when it burst forth from the womb,
9 when I made the clouds its garment
and wrapped it in thick darkness,
10 when I fixed limits for it
and set its doors and bars in place,
11 when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther;
here is where your proud waves halt’?

12 “Have you ever given orders to the morning,
or shown the dawn its place,
13 that it might take the earth by the edges
and shake the wicked out of it?
14 The earth takes shape like clay under a seal;
its features stand out like those of a garment.
15 The wicked are denied their light,
and their upraised arm is broken.

16 “Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea
or walked in the recesses of the deep?
17 Have the gates of death been shown to you?
Have you seen the gates of the deepest darkness?
18 Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth?
Tell me, if you know all this.

19 “What is the way to the abode of light?
And where does darkness reside?
20 Can you take them to their places?
Do you know the paths to their dwellings?
21 Surely you know, for you were already born!
You have lived so many years!

22 “Have you entered the storehouses of the snow
or seen the storehouses of the hail,
23 which I reserve for times of trouble,
for days of war and battle?
24 What is the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed,
or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth?
25 Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain,
and a path for the thunderstorm,
26 to water a land where no one lives,
an uninhabited desert,
27 to satisfy a desolate wasteland
and make it sprout with grass?
28 Does the rain have a father?
Who fathers the drops of dew?
29 From whose womb comes the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens
30 when the waters become hard as stone,
when the surface of the deep is frozen?

31 “Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades?
Can you loosen Orion’s belt?
32 Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons[c]
or lead out the Bear[d] with its cubs?
33 Do you know the laws of the heavens?
Can you set up God’s[e] dominion over the earth?

34 “Can you raise your voice to the clouds
and cover yourself with a flood of water?
35 Do you send the lightning bolts on their way?
Do they report to you, ‘Here we are’?
36 Who gives the ibis wisdom[f]
or gives the rooster understanding?[g]
37 Who has the wisdom to count the clouds?
Who can tip over the water jars of the heavens
38 when the dust becomes hard
and the clods of earth stick together?

39 “Do you hunt the prey for the lioness
and satisfy the hunger of the lions
40 when they crouch in their dens
or lie in wait in a thicket?
41 Who provides food for the raven
when its young cry out to God
and wander about for lack of food?

Job 39

New International Version (NIV)

39 “Do you know when the mountain goats give birth?
Do you watch when the doe bears her fawn?
2 Do you count the months till they bear?
Do you know the time they give birth?
3 They crouch down and bring forth their young;
their labor pains are ended.
4 Their young thrive and grow strong in the wilds;
they leave and do not return.

5 “Who let the wild donkey go free?
Who untied its ropes?
6 I gave it the wasteland as its home,
the salt flats as its habitat.
7 It laughs at the commotion in the town;
it does not hear a driver’s shout.
8 It ranges the hills for its pasture
and searches for any green thing.

9 “Will the wild ox consent to serve you?
Will it stay by your manger at night?
10 Can you hold it to the furrow with a harness?
Will it till the valleys behind you?
11 Will you rely on it for its great strength?
Will you leave your heavy work to it?
12 Can you trust it to haul in your grain
and bring it to your threshing floor?

13 “The wings of the ostrich flap joyfully,
though they cannot compare
with the wings and feathers of the stork.
14 She lays her eggs on the ground
and lets them warm in the sand,
15 unmindful that a foot may crush them,
that some wild animal may trample them.
16 She treats her young harshly, as if they were not hers;
she cares not that her labor was in vain,
17 for God did not endow her with wisdom
or give her a share of good sense.
18 Yet when she spreads her feathers to run,
she laughs at horse and rider.

19 “Do you give the horse its strength
or clothe its neck with a flowing mane?
20 Do you make it leap like a locust,
striking terror with its proud snorting?
21 It paws fiercely, rejoicing in its strength,
and charges into the fray.
22 It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing;
it does not shy away from the sword.
23 The quiver rattles against its side,
along with the flashing spear and lance.
24 In frenzied excitement it eats up the ground;
it cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.
25 At the blast of the trumpet it snorts, ‘Aha!’
It catches the scent of battle from afar,
the shout of commanders and the battle cry.

26 “Does the hawk take flight by your wisdom
and spread its wings toward the south?
27 Does the eagle soar at your command
and build its nest on high?
28 It dwells on a cliff and stays there at night;
a rocky crag is its stronghold.
29 From there it looks for food;
its eyes detect it from afar.
30 Its young ones feast on blood,
and where the slain are, there it is.”

Job 40

New International Version (NIV)

40 The Lord said to Job:

2 “Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him?
Let him who accuses God answer him!”

3 Then Job answered the Lord:

4 “I am unworthy—how can I reply to you?
I put my hand over my mouth.
5 I spoke once, but I have no answer—
twice, but I will say no more.”

Re: Can a Christian explain this in the book of job
Satan Attacks Job’s Character
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. 7 And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?”
So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”
8 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”
9 So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11 But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”
12 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.”
So Satan went out from the presence of The Lord.

Ok I have a few questions here.
Now Job is described as

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil.

So why would god let satan screw up this guys life?

Who are the sons of god who are presenting themselves?

What does satan mean by going to and fro on the earth and walking back and forth on it?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15695099

In answer to your Questions:
Satan is always out to screw up lives, that is how he expresses his hatred for mankind.
God commands we live by Faith, not by what we see, nor by what happens to us. So this could be considered a test of Job's Faith.
Yet in chapter 1 verse 5, we see that Job had opened a place up to to Satan to be attacked. In that He was making Sacrifice for his Son's lest they be in Sin. This was not an act of "Faith", nor was it allowed for under the Laws of God.(each person bears total responsibility their own sin)

So in Chapter 2 verse 6 we see that Job was already "in sin", and thus within Satan's power to be attacked or Killed. Yet God restrained Satan from killing Job.

The "sons" of God is a bad translation, but there is no "good" translation into English.
Basically it means, a group with something in common, or a family unit.
Generically, it applies to God's created beings, both Man and Angels. In this case, however it refers specifically to Spiritual beings, thus, Angels, both Good and Bad as God's "family" or "sons".

Going to and Fro in the Earth..., refers to Satan traveling from place to place upon the Earth (as he is not able to be every where, all at once), and even up to Heaven to God's throne. At this point in time Satan had free access to Heaven and Earth.
Many believe that Adam's failure in the Garden of Eden, gave Satan the ability to have the power of "Dominion over the Earth", that originally was given to Adam.
Whereas in Luke 10:18, it is implied that Satan's power, had been broken and was limited from that time on.
This was due to Christ, as the son of man, retaking the power of, "Dominion over the Earth", from Satan.
This power will be fully exercised, when Christ returns to Earth, to set up the Millennial Kingdom.

I hope this helps.

He knew what would befall him. Again in the bible the book of Job is Partial it's not complete. Read the apocrypha book Testament of Job then read the bible book of Job. Once you do you will have a deeper understanding. It's not the way people beleive. I always thaught the same why a man of God would have to go through this and God allow it.

Read the book

So are there more parallel meanings like this through the bible or just this one?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15695099

The entire bible is read the same as this, The Holy Spirit has taught us how to read the Word in this manner.
If you would like I will post more.
I also have 22 chapters of Revelation if you like.

Please post and you and I can talk, In Chrst

I would love to read more, this wasn't what I was expecting when I asked the question, I read the book of Job and felt sorry for the guy I thought he was being hard done by by god by satan and everyone around him but that has all made sense now.
I've just read the bible as a chronological history of events that have happened I didn't know at all there were other meanings through it.
Wow.

Re: Can a Christian explain this in the book of job

The book of Enoch is not valid. Link is a long read, but well worth it...

Respectfully - if you were to appropriate a greater respect and understanding of The Most High God - you wouldn't need to worry about a luciferian list! They can do nothing but what God allows! We forget too, that we are, first and foremost, here for His Glory!

Praise and Glory to The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - The One *TRUE* and Living God!

Praise and Glory to The King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ!

First, the "Sons of God" are the Angel's themselves, the Heavenly Host. This is explained in the Book of Genesis; while humanity is referred to as "The Daughters of Man".

Second, Job, and why was God allowing Lucifer (Satan) to put Job's faith to the test? This did not really have anything to do with Job at all, other then the fact that God saw Job as one of the few true "faithful" on the earth in those days.

So He allowed Satan to try and convince Job that God does not care about him. This was more a lesson, that God was teaching to Satan, then it was for Job... the lesson being that His faithful are His, and they can not be convinced to turn away...

As for Satan going to and fro on the earth and walking back and forth...

In those days, Lucifer, whom was the Arch Angel of the Heavenly Host before Michael was, and he was also the Angel of Light... Lucifer was not banished from Heaven. He was still granted access to The Throne of Heaven, and he was still allowed to speak his blasphemy's and try to tempt Gods followers away from God.

Lucifer was also granted free reign to do as he pleased upon the Earth... so he continuously moved between the Earth, and Heaven, and he was allowed to go 'to and fro' across the Earth. So he wandered the Earth, involving himself in the politics of various kingdoms of the time, and always tempting Earths inhabitants away from God.

Lucifer will not be banished from Heaven until The Great White Throne Judgement at the end of Armageddon and Christ returns, with Michael at his side. He commands Michael to capture Lucifer, chain him, and bring him to the Throne for judgement, and then he is thrown into the lake of fire.

Re: Can a Christian explain this in the book of job
Chapter 1
1 On the day he became sick and (he) knew that he would have to leave his bodily abode,
he called his seven sons and his three daughters together and spoke to them as follows:
2 “Form a circle around me, children, and hear, and I shall relate to you what the Lord
did for me and all that happened to me. 3 For I am Job your father. 4 Know then my
children, that you are the generation of a chosen one and take heed of your noble birth.
5 For I am of the sons of Esau. My brother is Nahor, and your mother is Dinah. By her
have I become your father. 6 For my first wife died with my other ten children in bitter
death. 7 Hear now, children, and I will reveal to you what happened to me.
8 I was a very rich man living in the East in the land Ausitis, (Utz) and before the Lord
had named me Job, I was called Jobab.
9 The beginning of my trial was like this. Near my house there was the idol of one
worshipped by the people; and I saw constantly burnt offerings brought to him as a god.
10 Then I pondered and said to myself: “Is this he who made heaven and earth, the sea
and us all? How will I know the truth?”
11 And in that night as I lay asleep, a voice came and called: “Jobab! Jobab! rise up, and
I will tell you who is the one whom you wish to know. 12 This, however, to whom the
people bring burnt offerings and libations, is not God, but this is the power and work of
the Seducer (Satan) by which he beguiles the people.”
13 And when I heard this, I fell upon the earth and I prostrated myself saying: 14 “O my
Lord, who speaks for the salvation of my soul. I pray you, if this is the idol of Satan, I
pray you, let me go from this place and destroy it and purify this spot. 15 For there is
none that can forbid me doing this, as I am the king of this land, so that those that live in
it will no longer be led astray.” Page 2 of 15
16 And the voice that spoke out of the flame answered to me: “You can purify this spot,
17 But I announce to you what the Lord ordered me to tell you, For I am the archangel of
God.” 18 And I said: “Whatever shall be told to his servant, I shall hear.” 19. And the
archangel, said to me: “In this manner speaks the Lord: If you undertake to destroy and
take away the image of Satan, he will set himself with wrath to wage war against you,
and he will display against you all his malice. 21 He will bring upon you many severe
plagues, and take from you all that you have. He will take away your children, and will
inflict many evils upon you. 22 Then you must wrestle like an athlete and resist pain,
sure of your reward, overcome trials and afflictions.
23 But when you endure, I shall make your name renowned throughout all generations
of the earth until to the end of the world. 24 And I shall restore you to all that you had,
and the double part of what you will lose will be given to you in order that you may know
that God does not consider the person but gives to each who deserves the good. 25 And
also to you shall it be given, and you will put on a crown of tassel flowers. 26 And at the
resurrection you will awaken for eternal life. Then you will know that the Lord is just,
and true and mighty.”
27 After that, my children, I replied: “From the love of God I shall endure until death all
that will come upon me, and I shall not shrink back.” 28 Then the angel put his seal
upon me and left me.

Re: Can a Christian explain this in the book of job
people who ask biblical questions on a conspiracy websight usually are just looking for an arguement.

I never know how serious to take a question here.
It's not that hard to look up questions about the bible on the internet. Look up several places and find the range of answers, study them and discern.

[link to www.gotquestions.org]

some good stuff there...

"Practical Application: The Book of Job reminds us that there is a "cosmic conflict" going on the behind the scenes that we usually know nothing about. Often we wonder why God allows something, and we question or doubt God's goodness, without seeing the full picture. The Book of Job teaches us to trust God under all circumstances. We must trust God, not only WHEN we do not understand, but BECAUSE we do not understand. The psalmist tells us, “As for God, His way is perfect” (Psalm 18:30). If God’s ways are “perfect,” then we can trust that whatever He does—and whatever He allows—is also perfect. This may not seem possible to us, but our minds are not God’s mind. It is true that we can’t expect to understand His mind perfectly, as He reminds us, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9). Nevertheless, our responsibility to God is to obey Him, to trust Him and to submit to His will, whether we understand it or not."

ESTHER 3

After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman,(magnificent…Please read the attributes of Lucifer) the son of Hammedatha (The one who troubles The Law) the Agagite, (The fiery one) and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him. 2 And all the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate bowed and paid homage to Haman, (Satan) for so the king had commanded concerning him. But Mordecai (Jesus Christ) would not bow or pay homage. 3 Then the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate said to Mordecai, “Why do you transgress the king’s command?” 4 Now it happened, when they spoke to him daily and he would not listen to them, that they told it to Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s words would stand; for Mordecai had told them that he was a Jew. (A worshiper of God) 5 When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath. 6 But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. (Let the redeemed of The Lord say so!) Instead, Haman (Satan) sought to destroy all the Jews (Worshipers of God) who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus—(The Father) the people of Mordecai.
7 In the first month, which is the month of Nisan, in the twelfth year of King Ahasuerus, they cast Pur (that is, the lot), before Haman to determine the day and the month, until it fell on the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar.
8 Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from all other people’s, and they do not keep the king’s laws. (The law of sin and death) Therefore it is not fitting for the king to let them remain. 9 If it pleases the king, let a decree be written that they be destroyed, and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver (The Ten Commandments the law of Sin and death) into the hands of those who do the work, to bring it into the king’s treasuries.”
10 So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman, (Satan) the son of Hammedatha (The one who troubles The Law) the Agagite, (The fiery one) the enemy of the Jews. 11 And the king said to Haman, “The money and the people are given to you, to do with them as seems good to you.”
12 Then the king’s scribes were called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and a decree was written according to all that Haman commanded—to the king’s satraps, to the governors who were over each province, to the officials of all people, to every province according to its script, and to every people in their language. (To the whole 360 degrees of earth) In the name of King Ahasuerus (God The Father) it was written, and sealed with the king’s signet ring. (A mark was given to Satan to place upon the people of God)13 And the letters were sent by couriers into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate all the Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar, and to plunder their possessions. (Satan had in mind to kill all life, this was in preparation for the battle of Armegeddon) 14 A copy of the document (The law of sin and death) was to be issued as law in every province, being published for all people, that they should be ready for that day. (The hour, day, month and year that Christ died) 15 The couriers went out, hastened by the king’s command; and the decree was proclaimed in Shushan the citadel. So the king and Haman sat down to drink, but the city of Shushan (Heaven) was perplexed. (As a son of The Father I must say that it is rather confusing to hear The Father sat down to have a drink with Satan, but as this story unfolds we will all see the reason!)

Re: Can a Christian explain this in the book of job

ESTHER 4

When Mordecai (Jesus) learned all that had happened, he tore his clothes and put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the midst of the city. He cried out with a loud and bitter cry. 2 He went as far as the front of the king’s gate, (The Veil) for no one might enter the king’s gate clothed with sackcloth. 3 And in every province where the king’s command and decree arrived, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.
4 So Esther’s maids and eunuchs came and told her, and the queen was deeply distressed. Then she sent garments to clothe Mordecai and take his sackcloth away from him, but he would not accept them. 5 Then Esther called Hathach, (The Runner, The Messenger, The Holy Spirit) one of the king’s eunuchs whom he had appointed to attend her, and she gave him a command concerning Mordecai, to learn what and why this was. 6 So Hathach went out to Mordecai in the city square (The courtyard) that was in front of the king’s gate. 7 And Mordecai told him all that had happened to him, and the sum of money that Haman had promised to pay into the king’s treasuries to destroy the Jews. 8 He also gave him a copy of the written decree for their destruction, which was given at Shushan,(Heaven) that he might show it to Esther and explain it to her, and that he might command her to go in to the king to make supplication to him and plead before him for her people. 9 So Hathach returned and told Esther the words of Mordecai.
10 Then Esther spoke to Hathach, and gave him a command for Mordecai: 11 “All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that any man or woman who goes into the inner court (Behind The Veil) to the king, who has not been called, he has but one law: put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Yet I myself have not been called to go in to the king these thirty days.” 12 So they told Mordecai Esther’s words.
13 And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: (The New Covenant) “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. 14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. (All men will be left helpless in their sin and transgressions) Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
15 Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: 16 “Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”
17 So Mordecai (Jesus) went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him.

ESTHER 5

Now it happened on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, across from the king’s house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house. (Facing the Eastern Gate) 2 So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter (The Golden Scepter = The Holy Spirit) that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter.
3 And the king said to her, “What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you—up to half the kingdom!” (Jesus and His Father are One, so half gives Him 100% authority in The Kingdom Of Heaven)
4 So Esther answered, “If it pleases the king, let the king and Haman come today to the banquet that I have prepared for him.”
5 Then the king said, “Bring Haman quickly, that he may do as Esther has said.” So the king and Haman went to the banquet that Esther (The New Covenant) had prepared.
6 At the banquet of wine the king said to Esther, “What is your petition? It shall be granted you. What is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!”
7 Then Esther answered and said, “My petition and request is this: 8 If I have found favor in the sight of the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my petition (Allow a New Covenant for mankind Lord) and fulfill my request, then let the king and Haman come to the banquet which I will prepare for them, and tomorrow I will do as the king has said.”
9 So Haman (Satan) went out that day joyful and with a glad heart; (Satan must have thought he would control The New Covenant as well as the Old law of sin and death) but when Haman saw Mordecai (Jesus) in the king’s gate, and that he did not stand or tremble before him, he was filled with indignation against Mordecai. 10 Nevertheless Haman restrained himself and went home, and he sent and called for his friends (Principalities and powers) and his wife Zeresh. (Sin & and Death) 11 Then Haman told them of his great riches, the multitude of his children, (How he had enslaved mankind) everything in which the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the officials and servants of the king. (Satan was lifted up in his heart)
12 Moreover Haman said, “Besides, Queen Esther invited no one but me to come in with the king to the banquet that she prepared; and tomorrow I am again invited by her, along with the king. 13 Yet all this avails me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.” (The Narrow Gate, Christ)
14 Then his wife Zeresh (Misery) and all his friends said to him, “Let a gallows be made, fifty cubits high, and in the morning suggest to the king that Mordecai be hanged on it; then go merrily with the king to the banquet.”
And the thing pleased Haman; so he had the (CROSS) gallows made.

Welcome to the real world!

Believe it or not God is the Master of all!
If something lives its because God allowed it to. If something Dies its because God allowed it to.

And if you believe the truth it is because God allowed you to and if you have been Deceived it is because as God said " He caused you to be Deceived.

And why would God Deceive you? Because you are Hated and he said he does not want you to know the truth because if you did you would Repent and would be saved and he does not want that to happen.

Why? Because some are chosen and some are not. He has his reasons.
