Well, it's a good thing Christianity is not a religion, it's a person.
So, I wonder where we fit in on their intelligence quotient. Sir, it is obvious who your allegeance is to, as I am inclined to infer from this thread that you see man's measure of intelligence as legitimate.
You exalt man as supreme, and that's your prerogative (free will).
The very people who say that we evolved from mud on a rock, then from monkeys, are the same folk who designed this Litmus test, if you will.
These are the same guys who determined at one time the universe was infinite, as they failed to realize that time cannot exist in infinity (as it operates outside of time).
These same men concluded the earth is 4.5 billion years old, but can't explain why the moon is still with us, as we are losing it to the tune of about 2 inches per year (it would've been long gone at that rate).
They say the sun is approximatey the same age as the earth, but its rate of collapse would have it gone within millions of years.
They can't explain the retograde revolution of several planets in our solar system as the so called big bang's angular momentum would have everything spinning in the same direction.
They can't explain why the earth was fine tuned for life, and the infinitesimally small chance of its existence without a grand designer's touch.

I may be dumb, but it would take a heck of lot more faith for me to believe what those guys believe.

They (the scientist, intellectuals) expaln away our chance existense with the multi-verse theory. The operative word here is theory (unprovable).

They can't explain the existence of consciousness.

They can't explain how the so called 'Big Bang' even occured, if everything (time, space and matter) came into existence in an instant. So, this indicates nothing existed before then, and the last I checked...it's hard to get something from nothing. I don't know, but this smacks of something supernatural prior to the so called natural. It would take way more faith to believe their theory.

No one can explain why intermediate fossils are absent from the so called evoltionary path. They can't explain the Cambrian explosion. They can't explain why mutations were good during evolution, but bad everywhere else.

Now, why do I believe that Jesus is God? Because he said so, and no one has been able to prove him a liar.

Religion is a Satanic invention, and man's attempt to find God, be God, and be good.

Christ came to find us, and tell us about God...

Hey, don't let our stupidity bother you, you just keep on following men, who fluoridates your water, taxes you to death, work you to death, enslaves you in debt, seeks to control you for his benefit, aduterates your food (with additives, GMO, etc.), pasteurizes (kills) your milk and OJ, steals your privacy, vaccinates you (but you probably think vaccinations are good), medicates you (but you probably believe the pharmaceutical companies seek to save mankind, and are far from being profiteers), socially engineer your throughts with media (tell you what to buy, who to hate, who your enemies are, the dollar is going to exist and stay strong forever so don't buy gold or silver, keep contributing to your 401K, etc.), views you as a slave, and steadily seeks to take away your inalienable rights, etc.

It is silly to say that christianity is not a religion but a person. Christ was a person (if he existed), while christianity and christians, is the label given to the followers of his alleged doctrines. In response to all your statements on the improbability of scientific studies you are reinforcing one of my original statements. The understanding that people know almost nothing of the universe we live in. I have much more respect for those scientist than most christians. The reason being is scientists are intellectual people, thinking for themselves and trying to figure the universe out themselves. They are not submitting to a particular ideology or book just because they don't know all the answers. Even if you can prove their theories to be incorrect, they are still more logical than the idea of a supernatural spirit in the sky that judges everyone's thoughts and actions. I feel like you are only looking at scientific theories that have simple answers to why they are untrue. Those scientific ideas you stated are still THEORIES, they are not scientific LAWS yet. There are countless theories out there and it would be impossible for the religious creationist world to disprove all of them because we cant even prove all of them; we don't have technology to do that yet. That is why they are maintained as theories.
