SOCIOPATHS SHOULD BE CUT OUT OF ONE'S LIFE TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT POSSIBLE.

Adult sociopaths generally have no desire to change and cannot be helped. It is thought that this condition is genetic. Children showing these traits can be trained to negate them.

I have encountered several in extended family in recent years and find that the best you can do is to make certain they fear your wrath over any bullshit they might think of trying to pull. That's all they understand.

This thread should be pinned as various sources claim the incidence of this disorder is between 5% and 10% of the population. It will only get worse if checks on aberrant behavior weaken due to a disintegrating economy, and people need to be aware of it.

Now, if a person exhibited all of these traits, realized they were detrimental to his well-being and success... and followed the golden rule and karmic law, who's to say sociopaths can't be a benefit to society?

There is a neighbor, where I live, who is a sociopath. He will invent any excuse to leave if I suggest anything he doesn't want to discuss, like anything that doesn't advance his agenda. He will lie to my face about anything and he always tries to maintain a friendly face unless I can't do anything for him. When he detects I can do nothing for him, like loan any money or help him work on his shiny truck and motorcycle, he will change to "avoidance tactics". He does this with everyone he meets. A truly selfish-to-the-bone, sociopath. I don't do a thing for him now.

Such a BIG "if" .... as a hardcore sociopath is not going to think there is anything wrong with their behavior and attitudes.

But this disorder occurs in varying degrees of severity so I would think it is certainly possible for some.

Since Sociopaths are under the same category as Psychopaths, did you know what the number one job that attracts Psychopaths is CEO?

Wrong. sociopaths have different brains that have no morality in the frontal lobe. This is termed or or in the bible to describe good or evil people.

This needs to be explored so we can rmove all people with no morality so we can remove them to their own countries and isolated from real humans.

I know many sociopaths, and am probably one myself. I know borderline aspbergers, narcissists and good ole fashioned douchebags.

Of these people, only one or two are classifiably malignant.

The rest are just trying to live like everyone else.

a psychopath holds no real human opinions, so he'll say whatever he's learned his audience wants to hear. he'll flip-flop whenever it suits him to gain advantage. psychopaths are very good in business and politics. a ruthless liar with no conscience is a deadly opponent.

although grinning glib on the surface, his real self will emerge, like he may get a police uniform and car, and pull people over and threaten them, or worse, murder like the hillside stranglers.

he'll sooner or later become violent, like attacking a weaker person, and shaving their head, or some other assault. psychopaths lose their composure easily if questioned. the mask WILL drop.

psychos LOVE death and war, but will avoid the risk personally by perhaps fleeing to a foreign country, all the while laughingly calling for more people to be drafted, sent, used etc.
