ok just heard soemthing like a bang. coudl have been anything.
why do they need these flares ?

They are almost never used unless soldiers are hitting the ground in that area. Would they go in at night? Doesn't this give Hamas an advantage as they can hide and sneak attack them? Or do these flares illuminate an area? Also, do you think that Israel will start an invasion with commandos or a whole unit?
