Mitt Romney is Just Like One of Us

I'm a republican, but even I was glad he lost.

Next time, try a republican candidate.

I know a close personal friend of Mitt Romney's. Romney's friend's wife called another friend of mine to order carpet from his carpet store. She wanted the most expensive carpet he sold. He explained to her, "Look, just because it's the most expensive, it doesn't mean it's the best. A couple of the other top-of-the-line brands are better. Let me tell you about those." She replied, "No. I want the most expensive carpet."

That's the kind of people Mitt Romney runs with. People who only care about status and having expensive stuff--even when it's illogical. Mitt Romney is not an ordinary guy. He wouldn't sell his mother to make a buck. But he would sell yours. Mitt Romney thought he was the fulfillment of the Mormon White Horse Prophecy. He thought he was "the One Mighty and Strong." Now, at the age fo 65, he's having an identiy crisis. Because he was led to believe his whole life that he was this special person in Mormondom. But he isn't. He's just a guy who got rich chopping up companies and sucking all the profits out of them while they slowly failed (except for the six that were roaring successes).

That's pretty good. I can see why then this guy was meant to fail, so in reality that sounds ordinary to me, someone who gets puffed up only to get humbled. That's quite normal when it happens, I think.



Hahaha. Actually that sounds like a normal politician. As for the wife thinking the most expensive is the best, that's pretty typical thinking for people who can afford things like that. Inane, but typical.

But, it does make me wonder if Obama won because he was perhaps the more humble person.

yup all us ordinary guys have multiple homes all over the country after raping and pillaging financial companies...not to mention being born into a mexican polygamist compound to a father who also ran for president, yeah almost all my ordinary guy buddies had a Dad who ran for president.

Yes I can see him now. Sitting in his easy chair, asking the wife for a beer. Thinking how hes going to pay his bills, if he'll have his job much longer, just like us.

In the kitchen, his wife is making a homemade pizza without cheese, cause she ran out of money to go get more. (or food stamps)

Mitt has a cough in the meantime, but can't afford to buy the cough syrup his clinic dr. Prescribed.

Sadly true in too many cases. I have nothing against the guy personally. He has a gazillion grand kids and I'm sure he's great with them. But these country club guys are just on another frequency from the rest of us. In the words of Lady Gaga, "Baby you were born this way"
