I have a voltage regulator to drop down the voltage from 14 to 5 but it fried my MC the other day. What do i need in line to protect it from voltage spikes and noise? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 554016 Smells like a test rather than a legit question, but whatevs. I'd start with capacitors and transorbs and go from there. |

So now when i sit on the bike(with RFID tag in my pocket) it will activate and allow me to start it. It worked great for about a week then it fried. I think there is alot of noise and spikes that fried my regulator. I figured it needed a diode or something but i dont know for sure. Ill google transorbs and see if i that will work for me. Thanks! |

Right now rocket propulsion is still the only way to get into space, though. What about this? [link to techland.time.com] ??? LadyJayne |
