It looks like a "test bed" for something. The military, and NASA, often creates strange looking aircraft so as to test out unique airfoil confingurations to see if they are practical.

A saucer shaped flying machine is of course the design style that intrigues us the most .... and theoreticall "can" fly.

In days of old a saucer shaped flying machine was probably impractical because it would NOT be aerodynamically stable and mechanical control systems were too slow to compensate for it's inherent instability, but today the new military aircraft are ALSO inherently unstable and a LOT of work has gone into the software and the control system dynamics necessary to keep an inherently unstable design flying - so we may actually see some "test bed" designs of saucer aircraft show up again (they did play around with them a bit in the 50's and 60's, but as I recalled they were so unstable that they only flew them as "teathered to cranes" machines).

The Osprey is a good example of using conventional designs to allow vertical take off/landing and good forward speed abilities (as is the new F35 - Marines version), but a true saucer shaped aircraft "might" perform those combined functions even better (particularly if the long rumored ("anti-gravity" devices can provide some of the "lift" needed for the the vertical take off/landing phase of the flight) (fwiw electicity powered anti-gravity "toys" have been around for a LONG time now ... the problem is that they are such power hogs. IF some good way now exists to store massive amounts of power which could be utilized for the 30 to 60 seconds BURST necessary for a takeoff/landing -transition to/frm flight phase, then the saucer style craft becomes very very appealing)

i had a helicopter go over my back lawn this afternoon. Iamnot in a flight path, and never before saw this sort of thing here at this neighborhood.

Itwas dark gray and compact, and seemed to have something like short stubby, cutoff wings sticking out from the side and toward the front of the helicopter. I imagine both sides, but icouldnot see both sides.

It was such an unusual size and shape I had trouble figuring whether it was a plane or helicopter, and iam still not sure of what I saw. It was powerful sounding, but not noisy, and didnot sound like a helicopter.

I was about to say, the aircraft looks like a common private jet with extra wings cut into the video. Especially one moment where the plane goes behind the clouds, it looks like a layer was cut there. Wasn't perfect transition as the clouds would have it.

I think thats the way the Polish build them. At the factory they were a few fuselage short and had to put the wings somewhere.

Its fake, look into the people releasing these "videos". Not only that but, there would be no reason to modify a mid-size regional jet like an MD-80 or 727 like this, much less make it a "Secret Project".
