THE LECTURE:

On 'Coast To Coast', George Knapp, interviewed Brent Miller who offers a comprehensive description of what could take place by December 21, 2012. Brent Miller is a scientist and the holder of over thirty U.S. patents. He is the founder of the 'Horizon Project', a group of leading scientists, researchers, physicists, astrophysicists, linguistic experts, and geologists from around the world who have been studying the coming 2012 event. Brent and his colleagues have dire warnings for humanity concerning earth's alignment with the 'dark rift'.

Through years of research and historical documentation 'The Horizon Project', has concluded that massive earth changes take place quickly over a period of days or even hours, and not over long spans of time as was previously believed.

Our solar system will reach perfect horizontal alignment with the Milky Way's galactic plane and the black hole which lies at it's center on December 21, 2012, an event that occurs every 24,000 years. Some have reason to believe it could negatively effect all life on earth. The Mayans said: "When the four corners of the earth sit on the 'dark rift', a cosmic portal will open and souls will be harvested." According to Albert Einstein, time and space are distorted by black holes.

There could be a 'Pole Shift' near the time of galactic alignment. The relocation of the poles would cause continents to rise from the ocean's depths while others will sink. The earth is not perfectly round, but slightly larger at the equator from gravitational forces, and the relocation of the poles causes the earth to change shape.

25% of the world's population now lives within eighty miles of a coastline, that's approximately two billion people who would die within forty eight hours of a pole shift from mile high tidal waves and ocean flooding.

Ocean flooding is corroborated by the predictions of 'Our Lady of Fátima'. Pope John Paul II was asked by a reporter "What about the Third Secret of Fatima? Should it not have already been published by 1960?" he replied: "It should be sufficient for all Christians to know this: if there is a message in which it is written that the oceans will flood whole areas of the earth, and that from one moment to the next millions of people will perish, truly the publication of such a message is no longer something to be so much desired."

According to the Horizon Project, almost every ancient culture on earth regardless of their language or what century they lived in has similar legends of high technology civilizations that existed before them. And the legends all speak of the destruction of those civilizations by a water based event.

During the actual shifting of the poles the planet will rotate in a different direction from the atmosphere, generating super wind storms that scour the earth of vegetation and life. Dust will fill the atmosphere from volcanic eruptions triggered by the tremendous gravitational forces exerted on the planet. The dust will block out the sun causing instant winter and possibly an ice age.

Within a matter of months another third of human life on the planet would die from lack of food, clean water, and medical supplies. With this kind of decimation there will be no 'Red Cross', FEMA, roads, infrastructure, communications, technology, and no power grid.

America and other high technology societies would suffer the most, whereas the populations in third world countries wouldn't suffer as dramatically. Poverty has taught them to fend for themselves. They already grow their own crops, keep animals like chickens and pigs, and use very little electricity.

With two thirds of the human population dead and food supplies exhausted and no way of growing more, people will begin to turn on one another and kill for food.

In ice core samples dating back 420,000 years, every 110,000 years there is a huge increase in co2 in the earths atmosphere followed by an immediate ice age, which could indicate that the rise and destruction of human civilization is a repetitive event.

"Much of the sea life would die," according to The Horizon Project, "because sea life can't live in murky waters." The oceans are also the source of half the earth's oxygen, which is produced by phytoplankton, one-celled plants that live at the ocean surface.

When earth passes through the galactic plane it will encounter a concentration of asteroids, some of planetary size, which have lost kinetic energy and no longer travel in a wave pattern around the perimeter of the galaxy like our solar system. Our earth could collide with one or more of these asteroids.

The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, - Revelation 8:8 one-third of all things living in the sea died, and one-third of all the ships on the sea were destroyed. - Revelation 8:9

The largest super volcano on earth is in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA. It is active and could erupt from the extreme gravitational centrifugal forces exerted on the planet during a pole shift.

"The impact of a Yellowstone eruption is terrifying to comprehend." says Professor McGuire. "Magma would be flung 50 kilometers into the atmosphere. Within a thousand kilometers virtually all life would be killed by falling ash, lava flows and the sheer explosive force of the eruption. One thousand cubic kilometers of lava would pour out of the volcano, enough to coat the whole of the USA with a layer 5 inches thick. The explosion would be the loudest noise heard by man for 75,000 years."
