China to Build Tallest Building on Earth in Just 90 Days! Do they Plan to Blow it Up?
this will be the tallest skyscraper in the world by the end of March of 2013. Its name is Sky City, and its 2,749 feet (838 meters) distributed in 220 floors will grow in just 90 days in Changsha city

Forbes reports that Sky City One's 220 floors will provide apartments for 174,000 people, with a hotel, school, hospital, offices, shops and restaurants occupying the skyscraper's remaining real estate. In all, the construction is projected to cost $628 million, less than half of the Burj Khalifa's $1.5 billion price tag."

The current record holder stands tall at 828 meters and took five years to build, but a Chinese company called Broad Sustainable Building (BSB) aims to smash that record by building the 838 meter eco-friendly Sky City tower, in Changsa, China in a mere 90 days

The tallest Building in the world will likely have more than 50 chinese mixed into the cement unless others on this forum have a more realistic number?

I've worked on a project in Nebraska where the construction installed the lighting during daytime, but the fixtures need to be adjusted to aim the light at key areas after dark.
The fuckin union demanded such high pay for such little work (1. climb the ladder, 2. aim the light fixture, 3. get off the ladder, 4. go home eat and watch TV), the owner decided to just leave the lighting as-is (aimed randomly, hot spot all over the place.). So yea there's no such thing as 'proudly made in America' any more. It's all fuckin lazy dumbasses doing so little demanding so much. Time to move on.
