found it:

LA RESURREZIONE sculpted by Pericle Fazzini

This twenty-meter-wide brass and bronze sculpture behind the current Pope, Benedict XVI, is located in the Vatican's Paul VI Audience Hall which was completed in 1971.

he Paul VI Audience Hall is a building in Italy, mostly in Rome and partially in Vatican City, but the Italian part of the building is an exterritorial area of the Holy See used by the Pope as an alternative to Saint Peter's Square for conducting his Wednesday morning General Audience.[1] The building, with a seating capacity of 6,300, was designed in reinforced concrete by the Italian architect Pier Luigi Nervi and completed in 1971.[2]
One of the more arresting features of the hall is the twenty-meter-wide brass and bronze sculpture La Resurrezione ("The Resurrection") by Pericle Fazzini.
On May 25, 2007 it was revealed that the roof of the building was to be covered with 2,400 photovoltaic panels, generating sufficient electricity to supply all the heating, cooling and lighting needs of the building throughout the year.[3][4] The system was donated by a German manufacturer, SolarWorld

Re: Pope denies second coming of Jesus in his weekly address
The 'Pope' is at it again!

So much blasphemy from the R.C. church only means one thing. The time is NEAR!

This is how the Pope explains two central Bible verses of the second coming of Jesus:

“Then the Son of Man will come upon the clouds in the sky with great power and glory” (13:26). The “Son of Man” is Jesus himself, who links the present with the future; the ancient words of the prophets have finally found a center in the person of the Messiah of Nazareth: he is the central event that, in the midst of the troubles of the world, remains the firm and stable point.

For this reason Jesus does not describe the end of the world and when he uses apocalyptic images he does not conduct himself like a “visionary.” On the contrary, he wants to take away the curiosity of his disciples in every age about dates and predictions and wishes instead to give them a key to a deep, essential reading, and above all to indicate the right path to take, today and tomorrow, to enter into eternal life. Everything passes – the Lord tells us – but God’s Word does not change, and before this Word each of us is responsible for his conduct. It is on this basis that we will be judged.

They are really throwing Satan a party at that church, aren't they?

I think the pope is trying to reassure the rapturetards that they are, indeed, retarded and that the time will not be known, despite man's attempts to engineer their apocalypse to suit their needs.

Very interesting word choices have been used in this address. On the first reading, I saw little issue - but then I noticed that The statements made contain both factual and deceptive claims. I will break it down:

Claim 1: "Jesus does not describe the end of the world"
True. Jesus is not referring to the end of the world, but to that of his eventual return, or second coming.

Claim 2: "When he [Jesus] uses apocalyptic images he does not conduct himself like a “visionary.”
False. This verse and the statements made around it have been taken out of context. The full verse reads:

Mark 13:26
And then they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

Matthew 24:30
At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.

Taken in context, you can clearly see that Jesus is indeed speaking prophetically, as a visionary. Note the first part of the sentence - He is speaking of an actual event, solidified at a specific point in time.

Claim 3: "[Jesus] wants to take away the curiosity of his disciples in every age about dates and predictions”
True. Although not it is not clear in this verse, Jesus does clarify what the signs will be preceding his return.

Claim 4: "...[Jesus] wishes instead to give them a key to a deep, essential reading, and above all to indicate the right path to take...
True. Because Jesus is not describing the end of the world, but that of his second coming, it is valid to say that Jesus is trying to "indicate the right path to take" before such things come to pass.

At first glance, It does not seem as if there are issues with the statements the Pope has made. However, he has deliberately used factual and deceptive means to convey a most incorrect message - in an attempt to get people to accept his statements, without question. The Pope (as seen in claim 2) has stated that Jesus is not speaking about an event, and is in essence, denying the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

You ARE aware that ALL FORMS OF Protestantism is a "by-product" of the "Catholic Faith"...RIGHT? -It was a mere KING who changed the words of the bible because of a political fallout with the diocese. In other words, "the King James Bible" was literally revised by a filthy elitist. There were strict instructions to have never changed a single word. Not to mention the people who translated the bible from its original format...WHICH WAS IN CODE.

You ARE aware that the very bible that you read is a version, or a revised edition off of the "Roman Catholic Texts,"...RIGHT???

You ARE aware that it was Catholicism that set forth Jesus as "The Son Of God," and created the "trinity," in which ALL of you except the Jehovah's witnesses agree...RIGHT?

You ARE aware that "the passover," Easter, Christmas, etc...was all pushed into one religion by the Romans and coalesced into Christianity...RIGHT?

You must ALSO be aware that the act of "Communion," is primarily Roman Catholic, and reflects much of the former Roman pagan practice of "drinking blood." (i.e. Cannibalism, Vampirism) for the sake of "sacrifice" in exchange for power. --RIGHT???--
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its funny to me, because...even Christians are separated and AT WAR with one another. Catholics think that the Lutherans will burn in hell. The Lutherans think that the Pentacostals will burn. The Pentacostals think that the Methodists will burn. The Methodists are sure that the Baptists will burn...and the Baptists just LAUGH their butts off at "The Mormons."

So...Your faith IN GENERAL is in FAR MORE TROUBLE THAN YOU COULD BE AWARE.

I suggest that you quit worshiping your messenger, and start FOLLOWING THE MESSAGE. Although, I realize that its far easier to do the former, than to recreate your lives and actually LIVE THE LATTER. -LOVE EVERYONE UNCONDITIONALLY- Don't TALK about it and point fingers at one another...DO IT.

here is another sculpture by that artist:
[link to www.lombardiabeniculturali.it]

the Sibyl, this historical figure in Greek and Roman mythology, is a virgin with prophetic virtues inspired by the god Apollo

The war is for the artist a new creative period, directed at finding the sculpture absolute sublimation of the human figure in beyond sexuality. Point of arrival are the Sibyl and the Prophet, two symbols of man in his ascetic and mystical relationship with the universe, two figures in their space summarize the anxiety and the promise of a new "realm of the spirit."

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. He did not deny the second coming of Jesus,
and he never would, it is what the Church is waiting for.

"Benedict said that Jesus 'does not describe the end of the world, and when he uses apocalyptic images, he is not acting the prophet.
On the contrary, he wants to stop his disciples of every epoch from being curious over dates, forecasts, and wants to give them the key to ... the right road to walk today and tomorrow to enter into the eternal life' he added."

Which is why instead of following a denomination, you follow the Bible-The Word of God.

Protestantism was a movement of Christians who realized the Catholic church was not Biblical, and instead consumed with their own rituals and idols, the main idol being the Pope.

There are a few key concepts to keep in mind.

1. You were created by the one true God.

2. Salvation lies in faith in Christ, the Son of God, his death on the cross, and his resurrection.

People who want to be their own gods have a great deal of pride. They don't want to submit to the authority of the one who created them.

So they will cherry-pick certain things involving church corruption in the name of God in order to excuse themselves.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:20

You are wrong Serenity. Just open a copy of the Geneva bible made at least 2 decades before the KJV and the texts are very much the same. You have no idea what your talking about in the least bit.

You haven't a clue how many people were burned at the stake by the Holy Roman Empire for translating and attempting to translate the Bible into English from Latin as well as the original Greek and Hebrew. You can continue to live in the little web of deceit and lies that has been spun for you or you can at least bother to get educated about the topic at hand.

This is well worth a watch if you actually would like to get informed on how the English translations of the Bible came to be and how many people were tortured and murdered for it by the Catholic Church.
All matter is energy condensed through vibration.

Re: Pope denies second coming of Jesus in his weekly address
I agree with every thing the Pope is saying about this.
It can be backed and laid out by the rest of the Scriptures.

But yes it is true Christ and his appearing on this earth feet on this ground manifested in flesh was Once only and that to give up his body to flesh and bone that bleeds to death.

He never gave his spirit up to the grave to die but commenced it right back unto into the eternal....as we could see a man give up the ghost some where as we speak and this means he has now departed from his body which is expired and it that living ghost left it is why it is expired.

His spirit returned unto every believer it abides in them...the Spirit moves them comes upon them....moves amongst them.

And even witnesses back and forth from one believer to the next..

And you can tell exactly when this happens it is not the believer before you...speaking or what ever but Him in them.

It can depend upon the diverse gifts we have but you can see this with your eyes......you can feel it tangibly and at times smell it.

This was the new earth and our head is not of this world but of heaven..the same kingdom we pray our Father who are in heaven hallowed be Thy name ...They kingdom come Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.

The kingdom of God in with in these vessels of flesh...man like Adam of earth like clay....has the Holy Ghost that Holy Spirit of God in them.

When you speak to them you are being heard by Him in them..When your in their presence no matter what you are doing the place or the time....Christ in them sees you before them.

Many many many eyes in this world going to and fro....many many white stones with eyes in them.

And ears that hear with in them.

And without them.

What you will see is the same as was said....heaven and earth may pass away but His Words will never pass away.

Because they live in you that seed sowed in you that is your new spirit will not pass away..you body will.

This earth will and this heaven of the earth will ...but not His living Word of Spirit and Life that it is.

That is why we are told plainly to be baptized in the name of Father Son and Holy Ghost..so we can be filled with the Holy Ghost that fills and seals us until our day we are redeemed from these bodies vessels of clay.

Then we will go up....not down but up to God where that spirit given came from.

So like in the days of Noah like in the days of the Old former kingdom that was removed....so this can be established.

In like manner we are not a world that will be guilty and be acquitted.
Not even those in the Church can think they are not held accountable....and will not like wise be cast off.
If they go back into the works of darkness that are in this world where darkness is separated from the Light of the Kingdom of the beloved Son...Jesus Christ who is that Light and no darkness in allowed to enter that kingdom where no night is.....

They will be spewed out back into the darkness if they dim away.

So keep the armour of light by abiding in the Vine which is that oil that fuels your lamp.

Soo far off I almost don't know where to begin!

The "Roman" liturgy to this day is done in Latin...not Greek, Hebrew and Chaldean - the original languages of the Bible.

Not everybody who is not Catholic is "Protestant." Ask any US citizen if they considers themselves a "revolutionary" because the original US revolted against England. Further, you seem to ignore the Coptic churches...who definitely do not follow Rome.

Let us get this straight - the Roman Catholic Church put to death those who origianlly tried to translate the Bible into English. The first English Bibles were not "Protestant" - usin your terminalogy. Most of the present English language Bibles are based of Greek and Hebrew manuscripts...they are not transliterations of Roman Catholic Bibles.

As for Easter and Christmas...do you know what the term syncretism means? Easter is from "Ishtar." It was a pagan "holy day" that was pushed into the CHRISTIAN church. The correct day should be Passover. You might want to look up Ishtar, pagan virginity rituals, rabbits and the rest. As for "Christmas" - most likely Jesus was born in October...the usual time of the Roman census. The December 25 date...you might want to learn about the pagan ceasar/pope Constantine. He pushed it and many other hideous days into the Church.

Transubstantiation...another demonic attempt at corrupting true Christianity. The early church fathers thought the bread and wine were symbolic...not flesh and blood. The Bible does not support a view as the bread and wine as "transformed" into human flesh and human blood.

Boy...that is a start. You might want to check things out before blindly believing ANYBODY...including (as you term them) "Protestants." Heck - question what I have just wrote...do the research yourself...your soul is that important!

So, OP, are you going to explain your own interpretation of Mark 13 since you are rejecting that of the Pope?
 Quoting: Life and Love
