He knew how to live, he lived by Gods grace, all supply came from God and David knew it and acknowledged it in public and in his songs to God or Psalms.

So he lies a lot.

The 'Pope' is at it again!

So much blasphemy from the R.C. church only means one thing. The time is NEAR!

This is how the Pope explains two central Bible verses of the second coming of Jesus:

“Then the Son of Man will come upon the clouds in the sky with great power and glory” (13:26). The “Son of Man” is Jesus himself, who links the present with the future; the ancient words of the prophets have finally found a center in the person of the Messiah of Nazareth: he is the central event that, in the midst of the troubles of the world, remains the firm and stable point.

For this reason Jesus does not describe the end of the world and when he uses apocalyptic images he does not conduct himself like a “visionary.” On the contrary, he wants to take away the curiosity of his disciples in every age about dates and predictions and wishes instead to give them a key to a deep, essential reading, and above all to indicate the right path to take, today and tomorrow, to enter into eternal life. Everything passes – the Lord tells us – but God’s Word does not change, and before this Word each of us is responsible for his conduct. It is on this basis that we will be judged.

You ARE aware that ALL FORMS OF Protestantism is a "by-product" of the "Catholic Faith"...RIGHT? -It was a mere KING who changed the words of the bible because of a political fallout with the diocese. In other words, "the King James Bible" was literally revised by a filthy elitist. There were strict instructions to have never changed a single word. Not to mention the people who translated the bible from its original format...WHICH WAS IN CODE.

You ARE aware that the very bible that you read is a version, or a revised edition off of the "Roman Catholic Texts,"...RIGHT???

You ARE aware that it was Catholicism that set forth Jesus as "The Son Of God," and created the "trinity," in which ALL of you except the Jehovah's witnesses agree...RIGHT?

You ARE aware that "the passover," Easter, Christmas, etc...was all pushed into one religion by the Romans and coalesced into Christianity...RIGHT?

You must ALSO be aware that the act of "Communion," is primarily Roman Catholic, and reflects much of the former Roman pagan practice of "drinking blood." (i.e. Cannibalism, Vampirism) for the sake of "sacrifice" in exchange for power. --RIGHT???--
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its funny to me, because...even Christians are separated and AT WAR with one another. Catholics think that the Lutherans will burn in hell. The Lutherans think that the Pentacostals will burn. The Pentacostals think that the Methodists will burn. The Methodists are sure that the Baptists will burn...and the Baptists just LAUGH their butts off at "The Mormons."

So...Your faith IN GENERAL is in FAR MORE TROUBLE THAN YOU COULD BE AWARE.

I suggest that you quit worshiping your messenger, and start FOLLOWING THE MESSAGE. Although, I realize that its far easier to do the former, than to recreate your lives and actually LIVE THE LATTER. -LOVE EVERYONE UNCONDITIONALLY- Don't TALK about it and point fingers at one another...DO IT.

WOW...So somehow, you must have totally decided to read my words backward, take out certain vowels and syllables, and then re-insert whatever words you chose. NO...that's not what I am saying AT ALL.

With what I posted, how did you go from me saying that "Jesus" was not the son of God, and that I was a Muslim?

Where did that logic come from??? Can you tell me from what I posted how you determined that I was somehow a Muslim? Tell me THE PROCESS that your mind went through to come up with something so totally out of "left field."

I never implied ANYTHING other than what is up on that POST. Maybe you should READ IT AGAIN.

here is another sculpture by that artist:
[link to www.lombardiabeniculturali.it]

the Sibyl, this historical figure in Greek and Roman mythology, is a virgin with prophetic virtues inspired by the god Apollo

The war is for the artist a new creative period, directed at finding the sculpture absolute sublimation of the human figure in beyond sexuality. Point of arrival are the Sibyl and the Prophet, two symbols of man in his ascetic and mystical relationship with the universe, two figures in their space summarize the anxiety and the promise of a new "realm of the spirit."

These are the end times for sure my friend. I implore Catholics to rethink following these devils. Catholicism is the ultimate heresy verysad
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28032353

Just wait until you find out what the ENTIRE RELIGION is actually based upon. Just wait until you find out what you've been participating in.

You're not going to like it...

And this is the VERY reason why "Heresy" as you say, can even EXIST in such an institution as a whole. Protestantism is based upon all the old Catholic tenets. Therefore, I'm not sure why you feel "exempt," in this "heresy" issue.

Hint: Drinking of the blood, eating of the body. -Communion- (Old dark pagan ritual...cannibalism, vampirism.) This is the act of sacrifice in order to exchange power for -blood.- (Harvest...etc.)

When this comes...its going to be "Biblical." --For lack of a better term--

The Pope is right to be worried, he would be at the head of the group that has left their first love, God.

Re:2:4:
Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee,
because thou hast left thy first love.

Jas:2:8:
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself,
ye do well:
Jas:2:9:
But if ye have respect to persons,
ye commit sin,

I agree, God’s word never changes but our good conduct cannot save us. Jesus alone saves. Only by relying on Jesus who was sinless and paid for our redemption on the cross can one be saved. That is why he came. He made a way for us at calvary and defeated death and hell when he rose from the grave. We must put our trust in him.

Jesus, alone, saves by His redeeming Blood.

I am saved by the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world.

Re: Pope denies second coming of Jesus in his weekly address

They are really throwing Satan a party at that church, aren't they?

Um...scratching

How do I do this without offending the sensibilities of "the herd?"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the whole point of Jesus teachings anyway...
To live it, not arguing about it, not thinking about it, not discussing it, BUT LIVE IT, BECOMING THAT WORD ITSELF.
But why so many fail? Why we, as humans fail? Thats, i think a good question to ask oneself. What is mind? How does it work? What is its tricks? Did thought invent all the religions, science, society etc.? Why we, being sentient beings, are subjects to thinking so much? afro

Answer must be insightful, sudden, not involved in time. Insight brings a permanent change of perception.
Intellectual understanding does not change anything... it only lock people in self-perpetuating circle...

Re: Pope denies second coming of Jesus in his weekly address
here is another sculpture by that artist:
[link to www.lombardiabeniculturali.it]

the Sibyl, this historical figure in Greek and Roman mythology, is a virgin with prophetic virtues inspired by the god Apollo

The war is for the artist a new creative period, directed at finding the sculpture absolute sublimation of the human figure in beyond sexuality. Point of arrival are the Sibyl and the Prophet, two symbols of man in his ascetic and mystical relationship with the universe, two figures in their space summarize the anxiety and the promise of a new "realm of the spirit."

Thanks Pink Cat for the info on the sculpture and the artist.

Most here think it is 'creepy' or scary, I think it is amazing. Must be unreal in person.

Thanks again for the research.hf
 Quoting: JanJan

You should think it's creepy. 'Apollo' or 'Apollyon' or 'Osiris' or 'Ra' or 'Lucifer' or 'Enki' or 'Satan' is what it depicts. Same devil, different name. I think that's why many refer to him as 'the nobody'...since he can't decide on a name. Lol.

Re: Pope denies second coming of Jesus in his weekly address
and why are we taking advice from another mortal man who has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God just like everyone else again? we should listen to Jesus and Gods word only. im really starting to think catholicism is false altogether, every catholic ive come across seems to deny or twist scripture. the pope is literally treated like a god figure and worshipped like royalty...hes just a dirty sinner like everyone else,it makes me sick especially since he teaches false doctrine.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1880593

I have always found the Catholics to be very tolerant of other people's religious beliefs. They even will show an interest in what it is I or someone else believes, & I've never had one of them try to convert me. I respect them for that. I just wish the other "Christian" sects would be so tolerant.

wut

Any Catholics here care to splain this one?
"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

Re: Pope denies second coming of Jesus in his weekly address
Dear sir, you are most surely blinded by your prejudice!

His holiness denied no such thing nor he implied anything of the sort!

He was just explaining the catholic doctrine in an splendid way, as always.

He has much intellectual baggage to do so, while you, my friend, are an ignoramus, as you demonstrates by your lack of discernment in you post.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28067471

This is a problem.

"his holiness"??

He is just a man

Jesus Christ is HIS HOLINESS

and all shall bow to their knees at Christ's second coming...

including "his holiness" if he is still here
