Anonymous Coward User ID: 27872843 United States 11/20/2012 07:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Someone in another thread mentioned to someone else that if you were rich you wouldn't hang out on glp. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1711362 My question is, why? Why cant rich people hang out on glp? My family is rich. I dont wana go into details but in our province we're 3rd richest. We're also one of the oldest families of this province going back generations. Anyway, I would like to let everyone here know that rich people do hang out here. There are also some famous people meaning celebs here. Some hollywood directors also. I know one of them personally which is why once I created a thread here saying hollywood is getting their ideas from sites like this. Just cause someone comes from a wealthy family doesnt mean they're completely stupid. It depends upon their individual preferences. My brother has never visited this site but I do it everyday. Rich people have brains too. They also live on the same planet and want to know whats going on. How old are you and are you single ? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12844162 you have a w2 with 7 digits? you should demand a salary reduction and then make up the difference in stock grants or some such cool stuff that is taxed at a lower rate -just sayin I'm a sub s corp my business all flows through me ... How can I demand a salary reduction from myself lol ... the 10 million mark is my end game. Any advice how to hit it seeing you are already there? I plan on investing in LNG tankers, atm, more specifically glog. I am currently a medical resident, don't make anywhere near what you take in annually. I am frugal as hell though. Thanks. Everyone's path is different but many of the same qualities exist From college til almost 31 We lived as if I had nothing we saved everything At 32 I took my entire lifetime savings an invested the funds in addition to a business loan into my business and worked like hell for ten years to make sure I didn't go broke Things you must do Read the millionaire next door Surround yourself with employees and managers of great drive and pay them more than the competition ... Then inspire the hell out of them with direction and empowerment and get the hell out of their way Never ever do anything that you would be embarrassed of if it were on the front page of the newspaper the next day Pray to God daily for guidence in doing the right thing Give heavily to charity That's all I got for you Thanks man. I appreciate it. |

Once you are part of the gubmint healthcareless system coming in 2013 and 2014, you will soon realize you are never going to make that 10mill goal. Government will decide how much you are going to be paid. ...and remember who we are dealing with here. Last Edited by Useless Cookie Eater on 11/20/2012 08:02 PM |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 998486 The only reason most of us are here is because we cant afford anything but a internet connection. In other words we`re all losers here. Speak for yourself. I'm not a loser and neither are other financially well off people who visit this site. |

There are a lot of poor or normal people who like to use the Interent to build fantasy lives for themselves. So...when you see sombody claiming to be rich on the internet, chances are they are not. |

I only made this thread to disspel the notion that ABSOLUTELY NO RICH people would visit a site like this. Why? Do they live on another planet? Do they have a secret internet only available for them? They dont know what google is? And yes, I come from a very wealthy family but we use the same internet like everybody else. We also Google stuff! Dah! Thats how I discovered this website. |

But id agree that not only are there people on here that may qualify as a kind of economic minority. But there are also people on here closer to the illuminati then anyone realises. And its usually not those who shout about it. Actually I think, it is funny that the the comfortably off choose this forum. As you said many unemployed on here and probably, you wonder why they dont use their resources to do something better for the world. Or their connections. |
