Show me proof, I know the original greek words used. And show me proof, the original greek was manipulated.

I hear this so many times, that it was manipulated, but, they can never back up their claims with actual proof.

Show you proof? Proof is imaginary... Show me proof of god, Show me proof the John actually talked to god, Show me proof that this reality is real, Show me the cave there jesus resurected, show me heaven or hell, show me proof of consciousness...

Anything in that happened in the past is purely speculation in modern times. But when it says that constantine formed the catholic chruch to save his empire on a christian history website it raises some eyebrows to the validity of the biblical scripture...

Read my previous post about NDEs, and there's evidence for this, which of course I can elaborate upon if necessary.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28010201

In an NDE you view the astral realm as you percieve heaven to be like, ive heard of plenty of accounts of people meeting krishna and buddha as well as christ but these are purely visions of what you believe is reality.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28102897

This is absolutely false, due to veridical information.

This is information that was previously unknown, but later proved and verified to be true.

Meaning, the experience and 'visions' is not a product of what you believe is reality.

If anyone would be interested in following Jesus instead of arguing about Him, I'd be glad to begin a conversation on that. But frankly, all the arguing and doctrinal food fights are more distracting and even deceiving than anything else, as they lure us away from relationship with God.

Why is it when people die in the bible there is no mention of them ever going to heaven or meeting god?

Let me give you an example.
Take Noah for instance, he dies and thats it, you never hear from him again, theres no mention of him being in heaven or going to heaven, and Christ never mentions any of the people who have died as being in heaven with god either.

So what happens to us when we die?

When god limited our years and took immortality away, did he really mean for us to die, and never return go to heaven etc etc?

When you die you come across a series of gates or doorways and you need to have the correct keys or passwords if you will to enter into heaven. There are 3 of them. Can you guess what they are? If you get them wrong or don't have the keys than you get to go with the jewish freemason that
You are under and you will meet lucifer the devil and he will do with you want he pleases.

This is complete BS. and lucifer has been uncreated, he is not around anymore. There is no heaven, which you will see, as the veil unfolds on this world. This is a prison ward. Heaven is not prison, that is the difference. the astral realms of earth are not heaven either.

Yes I fully know that. so is 5d, and 6 d and so on so forth, because all the d's refer to is level of consciousness. But as Man's consciousness rises, so does the vibration of the planet itself, its matter, but its still matter. What would you offer.

The highest vibrating "matter" is of Paradise. then it descends to this level.

Re: A question about Heaven, and Death for the Christians out there
Christians have yet to discover there is no death and one absolutely cannot die. The body wears out, but people make new ones and rebirth. Life is eternal, and there is no heaven. Only the veil here, because this is a prison world and the veil , now that the lucifer rebellion is over, is being fully lifted. Read some walter russell about your eternal life. Life is IN the spirit and cannot die. It can only change form. Other planets that are not prison wards under the viel know this stuff. There are special planets that are constructed that you must earn by your choices, but there is no heaven as religionists believe.
 Quoting: God Loves ALL

so you'll believe walter russell but not Jesus Christ? hmmm. tells me alot about yourself. and there is death it doesnt matter how you try to reason it. this body will die...deal with it, therefore death does exist Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment". however everyone will continue to live for eternity in heaven or hell so by YOUR definition there is no death correct. life is in soul which is the makeup of the breath of life (spirit) and body so youre wrong again.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1880593

If jesus christ talked to me then i would be a little more convinced of what he said than reading a book that has been used for control over the sheeple throughout history.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28102897

several things wrong with this post. first, how can ANY of Jesus' words be used for control? he taught to be completely separated from THIS world. second, how are you (an unbeliever) any more free than a believer? youre still doing the exact same thing living in this society. and control? really? you think control of people on this earth is the endgame? for what reason when the supposed controllers are going to die one day just like those theyre controlling? what does this accomplish if the goal is simply control? the answer is the endgame isnt control, its for satan to drag your soul and as many as he can to hell because he hates God and we are his most prized creation and satan cant do anything to God but he can hurt God by tempting us into hell. God grieves every time a soul is lost to hell.

Scripture actually says very little about "going to heaven when you die." It has a whole lot to say about resurrection. This is so counter-intuitive to common belief that it is difficult to describe in much detail in a venue like this one.

In summary: (1) we all die; (2) we are (somehow) preserved - ideas differ about that; (3) we are all resurrected.

For those interested, I'll repost this link to a fairly lengthy lecture on the subject by one of the foremost New Testament scholars.

Re: A question about Heaven, and Death for the Christians out there
In all parables, notice that Jesus never uses any specific names.

However notice here, Jesus is using specific names, Lazarus and Abraham, giving evidence that this is not merely a parable.

Luke 16:19-31

19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28010201

Interesting, could you expand on that please.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28167922

Let me touch upon another topic, that supports these scriptures.

And that's near death experiences.

So, are these experiences merely based on the person's beliefs and imaginations?

I say no, due to these cases.

There are NDE cases, in which the person will go to heaven, and sees the deceased.

Now, the person, will learn of information from these deceased that was previously unknown and impossible to know about.

But after returning to their bodies, this information is verified to be true down to the exact details.

For example a little girl was taken out of her body, and to heaven. Here she met a murdered boy, who was now in heaven. She learned a lot of information about this boy. After returning to her body, she shared this information with her family. Even her family didn't know about this, and then decided to research this information. And found, the little girl, was right and correct, down to the specific details about this murdered boy, she saw who was no residing in heaven.

This shows the NDE experience was not imagined.

With that said, in these NDE cases, I know of 4 specific cases like these.

All 4, in their NDE experiences, confirmed the existence of heaven, hell, and Jesus.

In addition 2 of these 4, saw the 4 living creatures, as described in no other religion, except Christianity, and specifically in the book of Ezekial.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28010201

Ok, but there are thousands of years of history in the bible, with countless stories, prophesies etc, but not one of them ever mentions anyone from heaven that has also been on earth?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28167922

This is one possible explanation:

Following His crucifixion, and prior to His resurrection, Christ Jesus descended to a place in Hades (the underworld) known as Abraham's Bosom or Paradise. This is where the soul and spirit of Old Testament saints were being held captive awaiting atonement of their sin debt. Jesus' purpose in going to Abraham's Bosom was to proclaim victory over sin and death; to set the captives free.1 Forty days later, when He ascended to heaven, Christ Jesus took the soul and spirit of these Old Testament saints to heaven with Him; Paradise is now in heaven.2 At a future date in time, their body, soul and spirit will once more be reunited at the resurrection spoken of in the Old Testament book of Daniel.3

OP would do better to never open a bible. It will leave his mind free to think. I would suggest Walter Russell and other good sources. The soul is eternal unless one rejects eternal life and then it is uncreated. Its that simple. When you come into being, you are already eternal, that is the nature of MIND/Spirit Life is in the spirit, your life is not your body.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1880593

It is used for control because if you stray from the holy book you will go to hell.... Therefore anything in the holy book good or bad is considered the will of god...

If christianity were really the way to find god why would the elite let it stay around? Why would the black pope run the world alongside the queen?

If he grieves everytime a soul goes to hell why doesnt he save the soul instead of offering the soul a vauge book? Why did he have to incarnate as a human in order to open the pathway to heaven? Why cant he banish satan to another universe? The bible is full of contradictions my friend, open your eyes.

Re: A question about Heaven, and Death for the Christians out there
If anyone would be interested in following Jesus instead of arguing about Him, I'd be glad to begin a conversation on that. But frankly, all the arguing and doctrinal food fights are more distracting and even deceiving than anything else, as they lure us away from relationship with God.

In all honesty, I was hoping for a christian answer to the question.
Do we go to heaven, or does it all just end when we die?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28167922

Scripture actually says very little about "going to heaven when you die." It has a whole lot to say about resurrection. This is so counter-intuitive to common belief that it is difficult to describe in much detail in a venue like this one.

In summary: (1) we all die; (2) we are (somehow) preserved - ideas differ about that; (3) we are all resurrected.

For those interested, I'll repost this link to a fairly lengthy lecture on the subject by one of the foremost New Testament scholars.

Thankyou.

Its the fact that there is so little in the scripture, and so little about what happens to us after we die that led me to question whether we really go to heaven or not.
Is heaven just a club reserved for god, angels etc?
Which is why we never hear mention of anyone in heaven like say Abraham, because we dont actually go there, and that god gave us finite lives because we will never be worthy of immortality.

Im trying to grasp as to why god would limit our years on earth, only to give us everlasting life later on, it doesnt make sense.

So like, you honestly have absolutely no idea whatsoever about what the Bible is all about?

You have no idea about any of it at all?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27253156

OP would do better to never open a bible. It will leave his mind free to think. I would suggest Walter Russell and other good sources. The soul is eternal unless one rejects eternal life and then it is uncreated. Its that simple. When you come into being, you are already eternal, that is the nature of MIND/Spirit Life is in the spirit, your life is not your body.
 Quoting: God Loves ALL

and the reason for all of your human reasoning and seeking out of mortal mans (walter russell) ideas is your own fear of hell. youre utterly terrified of hell so you assume it to be false which is the worst choice to make when you shouldve just took the way out God gave you...Jesus Christ.

Malachi 4
[1] For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
[2] But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
[3] And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
[4] Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
[5] Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
[6] And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Re: A question about Heaven, and Death for the Christians out there
...

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28010201

So because something told in an NDE came to be true it has to be real? If we have a collective consciousness than why couldnt that information be transfered into your consciousness during an NDE?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28102897

Let me elaborate, on their experiences. This isn't merely like a remote viewer, or even an intuitive picking up on information, or information being transferred to your conscious.

There's NDE cases, in which the person will actually see the deceased in a heavenly location. Not only see them, but interact with them. Talk to them, and learn a lot from them and about them, while they were on this Earth.

The information was then verified to be true, after the experience.

That right there, tells you that this isn't merely based on the person's beliefs and expectations.

And even if the person is tapping into a collective conscious to discover and see this, this still proves your assumption is false:

but these are purely visions of what you believe is reality.

Why is your god such a psychopath? He demands worship and repentance...

God is jesus christ... He didnt sacrifice his son, he simply incarnated into a human form with no fear of going to hell so that you could sin and then repent?

Well in actuality it was the bible that led me to the whole question of what happens to us after we die.
There is no mention of it that I came across and no mention of anyone other then Christ ever going to heaven.

God is outside of time. We were created in this realm in "space" and "time".
God being outside of time, can see your birth, life and death at the same "time" in his view.
The same for someone who dies. Their soul becomes outside of "time" so as they experience death, in theory the next moment they share is the same moment as everyone who has ever died.
Adam dies and you die thousands of years apart, but you both experience the next "moment" at the same "time".
