First, where do people live who are afraid to go outside unless they're armed? What the hell?
Second, all the options for going out unarmed presuppose the person relies on others to keep them safe or that nothing could happen. Where's the option where you're confident in your ability to defend yourself without weapons?
Quoting: Thor's Hamster Well I guess you can use the "I am certain nothing will ever happen to me", being that it includes that a person may feel confident enough to handle any circumstance without the need for weapons (good luck with that though).
