I mean to cancel the rotation from the moon and earth :D Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27703973 I'm using a polar aligned telescope, specifically an 8" Meade LX200 classic (pre-GPS). It automatically tracks with the rotation of the earth. The moon doesn't quite move at the sidereal rate because of its orbital motion around the earth, but it's close enough that it's fairly steady. |

Let's see of there's a moon buggy there or if NASA lied! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14093935 I'm afraid neither this telescope nor any other telescope on earth has the angular resolution necessary to resolve any of the apollo hardware. Not even hubble. Every pixel you see here represents about 1 mile on the moon. That's about as good as I can resolve it. Hubble can resolve closer to football field sized objects, which is still far bigger than any apollo hardware. Only the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter can directly resolve the Apollo hardware, and it has. |

Damn the camera just moved, but there's another one to the left , lower half. Most of the craters are empty, but those two have something in the center of them. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24642485 Whatever it is, its casting a shadow Sure is.....hmmmmm..... |
