Salt - another excellent post as usual!

TRUTH!

So simple and clear - why so contraversial? But then again I have a great pastor who has always explained it this way...

Thanks and I always look forward to reading your threads... God obviously blessed you with quite a noggin... Even when you throw some wild stuff up, it always makes me think and more clearly define my own faith.
James 1:2-4 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

You can do all things that are in alignment with the Father Within.

The actual Lord's Prayer Given by Jesus 2000 years ago.

"MY SPIRIT, YOU ARE OMNIPOTENT. YOUR NAME IS HOLY. MAY YOUR REALM BE INCARNATE IN ME. MAY YOUR POWER REVEAL ITSELF WITHIN ME, ON EARTH AND IN THE HEAVEN. GIVE ME TODAY MY DAILY BREAD, AND THUS, LET ME RECOGNIZE MY TRANSGRESSIONS AND ERRORS, AND I SHALL RECOGNIZE THE TRUTH. AND DO NOT LEAD ME INTO TEMPTATION AND CONFUSION, BUT DELIVER ME FROM ERROR. FOR YOURS IS THE REALM WITHIN ME AND THE POWER AND THE KNOWLEDGE FOREVER,
AMEN.

Then is the NIV, as many contend, wrongly translated for those of us with English backgrounds? A word worthy of respect should be capitalized -(ie Him vs him, Christ vs christ or him) or is it only what's in the heart that matters? I am inquiring in Truth.

According to the Internet, Rupert Marduk owns the company (Zondervan) that has the sole rights to print the NIV.

also owns the company that prints the satanic bible

seems redundant

Before starting down that rabbit hole, you mean Rupert Murdoch, right? The Chairman and CEO of Fox News, and whose company also owns Harper Collins, one of the largest book publishers?

Confusing how they start out about James Murdoch, then refer to just "Murdoch", then Rupert.

This would be an interesting one to sort out. You should do that. rockon
