Quoting: Nine's 23438707 Wolves are well known in the animal world for roaming long distances. Radio collars equipped with GPS have put new details in this marvel. One Oregon wolf covered nearly 300 miles this fall, simply looking around. Even so, the peregrinations of real wolves are dwarfed by the hype of the blogosphere, where some anti-wolf zealots are trying to scare people silly. Take this picture, for example. [link to www.hcn.org] interesting seems theres disinfo from all angles on this. |

If not, you might want to think twice before moving to rural areas of Idaho, western Montana and western Wyoming. Back in 1995, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service introduced 35 Canadian gray wolves into central Idaho and the Yellowstone area of Wyoming. Since then these gray wolves have multiplied and are now roaming in huge packs. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26628682 read more [link to unexplainedmysteriesoftheworld.com] They'll kill anything and everything they can. This is NOT the same type of wolf that was native to this area. This is a much larger predator. These wolves have destroyed elk and deer herds not to mention the financial impact this little experiment caused. Thank you so much environmentalist's! Here's a novel idea...next time you want to turn someone else's backyard into a zoo try Central Park first! They really need to stop trying to turn this region into a zoo "for the future generations" to benefit with complete disregard for the residents and the lifestyle they've enjoyed for generations. | Anonymous Coward User ID: 24303692 11/21/2012 03:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wolves have a very large territory and can cover alot of ground in a year. I have had 4 wolves right up into my yard several times in the 12 years I have lived on my mountain. I have livestock horses and the neibor has Cows and Calfs. Neither one of us has ever lost a peice of livestock in all these years. Neither has anyone else in the Valley. We somtimes have our cats go missing but thats usually cototes. Its usually coyotes that nail the chickens. Coyotes also help keep the rodent population down so nobody bothers with them unless they start taking too much right in the yard. Wolves don't like people to much and are very elusive. They really don't want contact with man. The part about these huge herds of them is bullshit. Loose groups of up to 8 maybe not ever bigger. They don't attack people. I have German Shepherds that weight 140 pounds and they don't eat people. That article was a joke to insite panic by sombody that just doesn't like them . People are fucking assholes and just want to kill anything in site. To them I say fuck off. If you don't like it stay out of the woods. I don't want you around here either and some people just might make better targets than the wolves. Wolves need what they take. People just steal to steal. Destroy more property and kill more people than the wolves ever will. |

Not to mention the Hollywood types who live there too. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27702170 Sure kill them cause they're in your way. Dont' bother to use your brain to think about their value and their benefit in the long run. Then one day it will all be about you. Let's see how that works out for ya. Humans are a lowly species. |
