Mashed rutabaga.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8829646

Cooked properly, they're way better than mashed potatoes.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25342985

And you gotta get them fresh from the farmer's market, so aren't covered in all that thick, nasty wax like the ones in the grocery store. Those suckers are damn near impossible to peel without wounding yourself.

Bonefish Grille? Are you in FL?
 Quoting: Dease

I'm in FL. The Bonefish Grille is on 23rd Street in this area. It's a chain. So you can probably find them in many places.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 990186

OMG....23rd ST? You're in PC! We're in Dothan! We go there all the time. hf
 Quoting: Dease

We'll be doing Thanksgiving in Chipley, FL, which is on 77. You might come down 231.

Watch out for the Youngstown sign a few miles outside PC. The speed limit drops and they like to hand out tickets for speeding.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 990186

Yeah, we drive through Chipley on the way to PC. You're right about them loving tickets. I've never gotten stopped, but I've come close. They have nothing better to do.

deviled eggs!
 Quoting: woowoochic

Oh man oh man those are my favorite! My mom used to make them when I was younger. I made my own a couple years ago for my coworkers but it was very time intensive with little pay off lol.

Topped with a green olive slice and cayenne pepper!

Yes! Deviled eggs and the stuffing!
One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one.

Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway.

Re: Poll: What's Your Favorite Thanksgiving Food?
Only slightly off topic:

Although turkey is pretty bland, it makes for a great 'after Thanksgiving' sandwich!

Put some turkey breast on bread with a chewy crust, some mayo, a dab of mustard, a slice of tomato, a piece of lettuce, salt, a bit of onion, some crumpled bacon...mmm!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 990186

Oh. My. God. Yes.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18432713

I totally agree! I would take off the mustard, onion, and bacon, and just do lettuce, tomato, mayo, and lots of black olives!!!

A little bit of everything at the table, followed by seconds of green bean casserole, and a nice slice of pecan pie and a really long nap! Happy Thanksgiving GLP! headlessch
 Quoting: KwittyKwitty

There's nothing like a good nap to top it off!

Re: Poll: What's Your Favorite Thanksgiving Food?
I chose other, because my favorite Thanksgiving food is

WILD RICE

I grew up in Minnesota and we always had wild rice with our Thanksgiving.

I am making some right now, with celery and mushrooms. I cooked it with thyme, sage, parsley and garlic. I am trying something new and adding some Hickory Smoke Flavor.
 Quoting: Vision Thing

That sounds good too. hf

Re: Poll: What's Your Favorite Thanksgiving Food?
For sure it's pie -- pumpkin pie... no, apple pie... no, pecan pie...

With whipped cream and a great cup of coffee.
 Quoting: Adventus Domini

I like apple and pecan...no pumpkin pie for me. hf

Haha! C'mon! It's so tasty! But not filling.
 Quoting: Chip

Put some bacon in it. It's a complete meal.
 Quoting: Debauchery

I love new recipes!
 Quoting: Chip

Basically you just cook the bacon and shove it in the hole in the bottle and tada! Don't put the beer/bacon in a glass, that's gay, real men drink their bacon from the bottle.

It's so easy.

I hope you enjoy it.
 Quoting: Debauchery

That's fucking awesome! I love shoving things into holes. Karma for Debauchery!

your little girl you have in your avatar would grow big and strong if you fed her a steady diet of jizz. Seriously nothing sexual but it is super healthy.

Protein and vitamins and minerals. It is a super food.

I can supply her if you want.

You've been reported, sicko.

There's nothing even remotely amusing about that post.
