I have a very loud ghost

I've never been the best at sleeping. There are plenty of reasons for that. A lifetime's worth of PTSD for starters and getting woken up in the middle of the night for just plain weirdness often, but last night was just odd.

In the middle of the night I heard footsteps of someone heavy with shoes on in the hall. They sounded male. So, being a light sleeper I sit up to look. My bedroom door immediately closes with force like someone pulled it shut. It's on badly installed carpet..closing it like that takes real effort to accomplish. To me it felt like an angry closing of the door, like they had work to accomplish and were sick of trying to sneak around and my noticing..hard to explain why, that's just what it felt like.

So I get up to investigate. I wander the house. When I walk into the living room I see a badly camouflaged person crouched over by the television, but I ignore them because I'm half asleep and they're camouflaged and I really have no idea why else..fear maybe?
So I go back to bed and try to keep an eye on the hallway but I keep falling asleep every 30 seconds or so. Like I'm drugged, or like it's 4 AM; but even then you would think I would have a touch of adrenaline still running through my veins...guess not.

The dreams were odd after that.

I so need coffee and a better security system.
