ZOMBIE movie of Dead Island Coming ...

Global entertainment company Lionsgate recently announced that it won the rights of the popular horror video game "Dead Island" to be made into a movie.

The plans to make "Dead Island" into a movie were announced by Lionsgate's co-COO and Motion Picture Group President Joe Drake.

According to Mr. Drake, the "Dead Island' movie will be like its trailer that tells the story in non-linear fashion and will focus on human emotion and family ties. "Like the hundreds of journalists and millions of fans who were so passionate and vocal about the Dead Island trailer, we too were awestruck," Mr. Drake said.

"This is exactly the type of property we're looking to adapt at Lionsgate - it's sophisticated, edgy, and a true elevation of a genre that we know and love. It also has built in brand recognition around the world, and franchise potential," he added.

Some thing to look forward to, if the game is a showing of type. a CGI zombie movie, in the theme of the Dead Island game, something to camp out front of the cinema in Zombie costume. hope they put cameos of hollywood stars. Its a very fun and gory game, sort of like Far Cry 1, but open like Fallout 3, towns and jungles, but I wish that when you wiped out the zombies in an area they stayed gone, and needs zombie wild life, birds, fish, critters, but not to much on the mutants. a good zombie film brings dead things to life only. if you want mutants, then get imaginative with a crazy person who sews bits and pieces together, then lets see the weird stuff in that way, all for fantasy and PC whack em down and splatter.



If I were to sit with the conceptual writers, I would use a different ploy, as an island resort, I would have the doctor in charge secretly be an ex mortician, from old military recovery collectors in his youth. So to make it short, he inoculates the holiday arrivals with a laced insect bite sickness, some come back to life after various accidents on holiday, and kill walkers in the forest trails, hikers. who latter by memory to go home, wander into towns, hungry for ... brains. some die at work on the island from the effects of the inoculation, not knowing they are dead, but not being like the other zombies, they start changing diet to raw fish right through to plotting to take out some plump guests at times. a good film needs some well made monty python style comedy, made well in CGI, and Actors, even olden dead actors, Marlon Brando could have a part, resurrected at a place owned buy a gay Chevy Chase and Bill Murray :D well it is a Zombie comedy horror I hope, with Woody in the Lead roll with that cast from the Best Zombie comedy I recon.
