what I do not understand [I said coyly] is why Khomeni kept it intact.

I also do not understand [said even more coyly] why that when you turn the flag of Iran upside down you can clearly see an obelisk with a five ppointed star atop...and it has wavy lines at the bottom to signify the "water" to the fire signified by the obelisk. It actually looks a lot like the San Jacinto Monumnet.

Oh please please someone tell me why these things are so.
