| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1229586 11/21/2012 02:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP, Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1229586 I'm Jewish and i'm aware that the magen David originates from the Arab world. There's no proof that king David ever wore this symbol on his shield, it's considered a Jewish legend. In fact, there was a rav in the Middle Ages who contested that the symbol on David's shield was Psalm 67 in the shape of the Menorah. This sounds plausible to me because the Menorah is the only symbol God has given to the Jews. Even among the symbols of the twelve tribes there was no six-pointed star. What i dislike about Texe Marrs is that he uses the magen David to make all the Jews look bad. To me it sounds like christian antisemitism. King David had a Magen David configuration in his natal chart which is two grand trines connected with each other by sextiles. It is the only way he could have harnessed his leadership and overcome his trials to Lead his people The art of the Magi, or reading the stars was very important to the prophets back then, When Samuel is mourning over Saul, God tells him to find the next King, He does so by consulting the stars.. We are not told this cause the secrets have been lost to us for so long. The Beit Hamikdash itself btw, was a celestial observatory that was both a sun dial and a marker for venus transit. Don't believe everything you read on the internet, unless you're a scholar. Just pick a few Jewish encycliopedias written by Jews and read it yourself. You continue wearing the magen David, i'll continue carrying a Menorah, because that's the symbol HaShem gave to my people, according to the Torah. Or even better; pray HaShem and ask Him what the right symbol is: the magen David or the Menorah. Good luck! Star of David is the Stations of Mercury. Seven Branched Menorah is the Seven main planets known back then. Gershom Scholem - one of the greatest Jewish scholars of the 20th century - wrote a paper on the origins of the magen David, and he concluded that it came from the Arab world. I doubt you're Jewish and you probably haven't published any academic papers, so i believe Scholem over you. |

Some Hebrews became corrupted by the maji of Babylon while captive there. Others such as Daniel and Ezekiel remained faithful to the true God who would come to earth that we may know him, Jesus. The star and pagan symbolism today found at Rome came from Egypt and Babylon. You're not even Jewish and you're ignorant on this matter. I'm Jewish and i even lost a relative during the Shoah. You're very confused, because you're even saying that HaShem gave the Kabbalah to Moshe. M. Hirsh Goldberg, author of The Jewish Connection, writes in his book: "Perhaps most ironic, the very sign of the Jew in today's world -- the six-pointed Star of David -- is not really the historic symbol of Jewry, nor was it used as a religious sign by the Israelites." The question is not whether it's a Jewish symbol or not, but where it originally came from. The moment i discovered this i stopped wearing my kippa with the magen David. |

You hit a couple of good points concerniong the 6-pointed star. However,it seems you've been misled as well. HaShem is nowhere in the Torah and you're most definitely not Jewish either, but more likely a goy. I welcome you to prove otherwise according to scripture. |

So many examples; US, Russia, Rome, etc empires rise and fall... so when you have this awareness and you see yourself at the top; you must destroy yourself and become a different being; not one reliant on dominance and dominant psychology; but one that is truly adaptive. The Almighty gave man laws, statutes and commandments, some of which are related to agriculture. Your local farmer is not keeping these laws, but instead intoxicating the soil and ultimately killing people. Money according to the bible is gold and silver. Do you have gold or silver in your pocket when you go the grocery store? |
