The group "People" with Larry Norman recorded what is considered to be the very first rock concept album. Larry was auqaintances with a Brtish bloke named Pete Townsend who heard the album by People and returned to England and copied a lot of the story and album concept- that album was Tommy by the Who.

True story.

Larry Norman left rock secular music and again created a first- the first christian rock album. He passed away from a heart condition a couple years ago.

One of my all time favorites.

Ok...like the trippy synth. Like the way they work in some of the background stuff. Not a fan of the vocals, though. Will check out some of their other stuff...always open to music i haven't heard before.
