I know I will catch hell and be hated for this... but I don't really consider Pink Floyd rock, just my opinion.
And by a concept album I would think the whole album with all the song's together tell's a story.
Quoting: BULLDOZER I consider Pink Floyd to be rock ... but what is debatable is, is Pink Floyd prog? Sergeant Pepper was presented as a concept album, Lennon said: we told people there was a concept, when there wasn't actually, but maybe the concept was the concept of "concept album" people were asked to receive the album as a whole instead of a collection of tunes. They kind of invented the concept of concept album while they didn't do it ... but the White Album certainly isn't a concept album ...
