every US city has these low life criminals running things. and it is intentional. most people way more qualified couldn't get close to a job held by a person that cannot even write an email right. the US has been destroyed and this is one more thing that proves it. wow!!!!!!!!!

The city leadership reeks of corruption. Been that way since Coleman Young and probably long before that. There is not a deal that goes down with that city and it's government that is NOT tied to some type of organized crime or corrupt company, corporation, and/or politician. Just listening to these thugs speak should throw up some flags that these folks are street hoods put in positions of leadership within that government PURPOSEFULLY in order to have a method to direct contracts and steer MAJOR amounts of Gov't (local, state, AND federal) funds into their pockets. The evidence is seen by the results.... major amounts of $$ go through that city and the plight there is HORRENDOUS... yet the people continue to elect and have appointed thugs and low IQ criminals into the leadership positions. This however, is not a unique pattern. This is evident in many major cities.... Chicago, Atlanta, DC, etc....
It's just that Detroit's level of brash, "in your face" incivility and very obvious low intelligence level of it's leadership is unprecedented. And this is not a comment on the predominant race of it's leadership, this is a comment on the BEHAVIOR of their leadership.... there are people of all races that speak just as poorly, act just as immature, and also behave w/complete abandon of any civility and/or respect for the responsibility of managing the duties of public office. Detroit, again, is just at an unprecedented level of saturation of these characteristics at it's highest levels of leadership and they are just so blatant about it.... they don't even try to keep the appearance of a legitimate gov't body any longer.
