Intelligence comes in many forms. A person might not be able to read but might be an artistic genius. A person might not be able to walk across the room without tripping but might have great social skills. I think because of society's technological advancements, we have come to place a lot of emphasis on book smarts over other areas of intelligence, which is necessary because our jobs require some minimum level of competence in order to perform adequately. When a person is mentally as stagnant as pond scum, there isn't the alternative of digging ditches and riveting in a factory.

There are genetic lines (races and ethnic groups) who perform better on intelligence function tests on average and those who perform at lesser levels. This is why schools break out certain minority groups. Study after study has shown a difference - a difference which cannot be overlooked by income. Blacks score on average, for example, at about 70% of what whites do in the same income bracket. But then again, some other peoples outperform whites, too.

Look at sports, also, for example. Certain sports tend to be dominated by certain groups of people. The same goes for certain musical instruments. Why do people want to ignore the fact that some groups are just more intelligent than others as a population? That hardly means there aren't lesser and greater intelligence represented in each group. We are looking at statistics and averages, after all.

This doesn't mean that a group is superior to another. What it does mean, however, is that if many members of one group isn't able to compete in today's technologically advanced work force, extra training needs to be given so that such groups don't become a permanent underclass as we are seeing today.

The sports issue is best explained by the relative reproductive success of those who were able to survive the harsh African landscape. The white man wasn't running for his life from predatory beasts up until ... well, they're starting to, lol.

Right, and that's why it's important that the video OP posted explains about racial bias accusations in testing and that even on IQ tests that have no language at all, no culture at all, the test results are the same.

For example, there's some 16000 school districts in the country yet in no school district out of all those are the average test scores for blacks higher than whites. Are all the public schools racist? All the liberal, disproportionately minority teachers, are they racist too? What about the left-leaning administrators? Are they racist?

Of course, that is the point. But the averages are a one size fits all number - to the uneducated observer. So it is important to note that there are geniuses and tards in all races.
