Actually, you're kind of correct. I can distinguish between the extremists, which all religions have: Mormon massacres and vigilantes, Catholic inqusitions, christian crusades, etc.

The problem I have with "normal" Muslims is they don't seem to actively or passively rid themselves of homicide bombers, etc. They don't seem to work towards condemning radical muslims because in their religion, as far as I csn tell, it is a sin worthy of death to say anything against Islam or other muslims.

That's a good point. But I don't see many Christians condemning the radical fundamentalist extremist Christians very often either. Surely, some do, but its not the kind of thing we see or hear about.

Stoning people, forced marriages are concepts most in the West find totally alien. A big factor for me is that even the moderates in the community don't stand up to the extremists. In the UK Labour bent over backwards trying to appease minorities and this has left many of the new generation believing they are untouchable. The police over here are reluctant to act in case they are accused of religious insensitivity or even worse, discrimination. If members of the communities spoke out against the more extreme elements in their communities they would have support from the public at large.

Muslims will kill you if you say something negative toward mohammad..,. We are talking 'muslim countries' like saudi arabia, iran, iraq etc... you convert to another religion from islam, and they KILL YOU. That doesnt happen with other religions. Also islam is very oppressive to woman.

I can also enumerate many crimes comitted by Christian extremists and fanatics, and blame those crimes on the Bible quotes.
