I hate to tell you this, but, until the Muslim leaders (religious and otherwise) condemn each terrorist act and organization (Muslim or otherwise, but Muslim must be included), no decent person is going to sympathize with you. There is definitely an avoidance by your clergy and other leaders to condemn acts of terrorism by the both the known terrorist groups and "unorganized" terrorist acts as well. Until they do that, all will be looked upon with suspicion, whether it's warranted or not, "good" or "bad". Even lots of those thought of as "bad", when looked at through history can bee seen as having been treated highly unfairly, and people can empathize.
