OP, you gave them the power to do this by ignoring it when it was "them" getting dicked around by "the law". well, welcome to being a "them". it's nothing new, this crap has gone on forever, it just didnt personally affect YOU, so you chose to buy the "party line". welcome to reality. too late now though. YOU gave them the power. how many "tough on crime" talking heads did you vote for over the years? how many times did you sit there and nod like a good little drone when they goose-stepped around howling "ve must haff order!!"? how many times did you agree to folks having their rights violated "for the children!!"? you helped lay the platters on the lazy susan, now you want to cry when it's YOUR turn to eat it? lol, too late, too little. enjoy your meal, you cooked it, you served it.

I grew up on an Indian Reservation, in a small community, where the same persons who could possibly exert authority and arrest you, were the same persons who lived down the street and were the same persons with whom you would be shopping with at the local market.
I am merely trying to delineate how in our modern society LEO's accountability is unchecked -> The reigning oversight organizations that call the shots are unchecked -> Americans live under a veil of assumed "freedoms"
