Thanksgiving is sooo last century.

Who needs a family when you can play homeless outside of best buy for 36 hours just to get your greedy little fingers on the latest piece of electronic trash destined for the landfill a year from now.

I'm Thankful for (in no particular order) my Girlfriend who I love and loves me. My dog and 2 cats. Food in the cupboards and fridge. Budweiser and good scotch (currently Glenfiddich.) I'm thankful for my job. My vehicle that runs good for now. My family and friends, and my health.

Wife and I are still in pajamas at 2:51pm. Listening to church bells outside our house. Here in Shelbyville the Church bell plays a hymm on the hour of every hour, and at a soothing pitch. Were blessed to just take it easy and enjoy the sunshine. ....C.C

Very thankful for my family,food and shelter.Its not a lot but I am comfortable and blessed.What more does one need.
Also thankful for a whole week of wonderful weather.I just checked the US map and the temps are nice everywhere and only a couple of small spots with a bit of rain or snow.Rarely do we have a storm free week with beautiful sunshine thats just right as in not to hot.

I will be sitting on the group W bench with the rest of the GLP'ers.

If you want the turkey to be tender you should. If not it will dry out. Add a little chicken broth and wine to the pan too. Happy Thanksgiving.

Turkey, Stuffing, Marshmallow Sweet potatoes, reg. potatoes, green beans and lots of GRAVY.. Happy Thanksgiving. Now I am ready for some desert.

Now we're relaxing waiting for the Turkey to cook. Up until yesterday we were just going to pick up one of those ready-made dinners for today. Our freezer is to small to store a frozen turkey, so getting take-out seemed easy. However, as luck would have it there were fresh turkeys in the market yesterday so we changed our minds and decided to prepare the works.

We're very thankful for this quiet low-key holiday with the smell of good food cooking with left-overs for later.

Hulu even had a 4 minute clip on how to bake a turkey which was informative.

Cooking the turkey in a bake bag keeps it moist. In the past we also used a large brown paper bag which also worked well.

We hope folks here are relaxing today and just enjoying hanging out.
