The incredible future of Television: 360 degree Video

Just recently a friend of mine showed me a new gimmick he wants to implement for a company he works for.

When looking at it, I was astounded by all means..

I remember having seen this technique being used in Video Games such as CSI, but seeing it used now for television purposes is just incredible..
