I still to this day have not been shown this by Christians...

It would be like me telling you if you eat the last cookie I'll kill you. The difference is we all know that if you did not eat the cookie, and barring any other events you would die naturally. However, by threatening you with immediate death we all realize that you would die "within that day", either way you were/are still mortal. "...you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." Genesis 2:17 It does not mean he is going to die that same day, but that he will die inevitably. If there was death before eating from the Tree of Knowledge it would make no sense for God to curse Adam and Eve with death. Like I said, you are not trying to understand, only to negate. Sure it would have made perfect sense. As in we all know you will die, but if you disobey me you die immediately...
