(OP), there was a discussion on GLP about four years ago

regarding our present calendar.

The information I presented was drawn directly from a

Catholic pamphlet and it stated that our present day

calendar was off by four years perhaps five.

In other words it is 2016 or 2017 now.

So for me and certain others this is nothing new and it`s

not that the Pope is pulling some flim flam scam on this

one.

The question regarding it being 2017 instead of 2016 was

that the concept of zero was not understood.

The author of the calendar went from -1 B.C. to +1 A.D. and excluded 0.

In any case, I`d like to state though that the Mayan

Calendar, last I knew,was tested in 1993 and it was found

to be spot on.

So irrespective of what anyone dates and calls this year

December 21,2012 or December 21, 2016,or 2017, it doesn't

matter.

So whatever is to happen or not happen were

still just three weeks away!
