When I was researching Faraday cages a while back I read that the shielding from a microwave oven works.

It didn't look all that big to me - relatively speaking.

My dad is friends with Joseph Lawrence. They are working together on a large art deal. He's really knowledgeable about these solar flares and we have reason to believe that it will wipe out the electrical grid and be even bigger and lost longer than the carrington event.

I too have been researching the sun and after my solar flare presentation I've discovered that there is a very high chance for this kind of event to occur. Lawrence and the groups of astrophysicists he works with are saying the time window is anytime between now and next year in october that these flares will really cause some damage. There is no way to predict the immensity of these flares but you can measure them, and we have found that they are getting bigger.. and more intense. The sun itself is a raging fire giant. Far bigger than our earth and it has slowly been weakening our magnetosphere which is the reason for these aurora borealis' over in California, Maryland, other states etc.

This is a highly probable event. We highly recommend people prepare for it

Really for those who are uneducated about this, it is going to kill a lot who are unprepared. I mean I don't even know if you really can? Be prepared for this but I recommend knowing as much survival facts as you can.

Think about this guys. Of course NASA won't warn anyone about this on an immediate scale. They already have mentioned this vaguely. Its' not a conspiracy its just the way society is delt with.

ANY electronics within your generators (switches, etc.) will be fried along with mother boards, etc. (Just like the electronics in your car.) Figure out a way to build a Faraday cage of sorts or you won't have generators.

An electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) caused by a solar flare (or a high altitude explosion), can arrive in minutes.
