Have you heard of the term to "Get a foot in the door" or "once the camel gets its nose under the tent"?

This is what the assault weapons ban is. It has NOTHING to do with safety or security. It has everything to do with the lefts assault on the power of the individual. That assault starts with something that, frankly, is trivial. But! If they can get a foot in the door, then they might be able to force their way on in.

This is about conditioning you to accept an assault weapons ban based on a false premise that its abou "safety".

Next, it will be semi auto pistols and big magazines, then revolvers, then all rifles then shotguns.

These criminal bastard theives will not stop until everyone is powerless and enslaved. They take those attributes from you and use them to enrich themselves.

Notice she said "private firearms". This means only one thing: they will take yours and keep theirs.

I'm a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment. Those who know why the Founders included it in the Bill of Rights understand this.

However, Chuck stepped in it, when he said the Founders wanted the average American to be as well armed as the military. Does that mean an average citizen can have a tank? A rocket launcher? RPG? Apache attack helicopter? Howitzer? A nuclear weapon?

The militia, essentially everyone not in the military, should be armed equivalent to the common foot soldier. The us infantry rifleman is armed with an M4. (or in the case of Marines the M16, I think anyway) Therefore civilians should be armed with the M4 or similar.

The examples you gave except for the RPG are crew served weapons. No one on the free forces side is arguing for AT4,RPG or crew served weapons.

Only the hysterical victim disarmament people ever bring the issue up. Normal logical fallacy for them.

That's really sad. A job like long haul trucking rules everything about your life, and yet you don't evwen make a living wage anymore, and you have to deal with a laundry list of regulations.
