All of this is relatively subjective anyways. There is always someone for someone else. Most men, regardless of culture, gravitate towards athletic and healthy women. What the culture considers athletic and healthy is what changes. In the west, obese females (and males) are seen is un-athletic and unhealthy. This is why men gravitate towards the other end of the spectrum. In the west, there are not too many females that die from a caloric defect, which skews the results towards thin. |
