There's a lot to be said for being alone on Thanksgiving. You wont be up all night cooking, or cooking all day tomorrow. I love leftover turkey, so I'll have to cook 2 birds. Everyone has a different schedule, so I'll be in the kitchen all day after being up 'till midnite baking pies. And of course, the house will have to be clean even while I'm cooking. And, to make matters worse, my wife wouldn't let me cook th 40 lb. tom that I've been taking care of constantly for months. He's a very nice bird, but he's still a turkey and tomorrow was supposed to be his big day. Now, I will be feeding him instead of eating him.
