Actually, if a person had the faith I am talking about, a mangled twisted body would not be a concern, except of course if such a thing were allowed by the Creator for a purpose. You're assuming that the faith to heal would be greater than the faith to not be mangled. In my mind they are the same.

As the rulers asked Yahshua if the boy was blind because of his sins or the sins of his parents. And He said, neither, his blindness was to reveal the will of God. And then He healed him. Trusting God's power seems to be the purpose.

The faith I am talking about has to do with completely trusting God for everything. Healing is probably the biggest concern of ours. Money would probably be the next. But since I have, through God's help, overcome the worry of money to a large degree. Now, the next is healing.

Is there such a person among us who has reach this level of faith? I would like to meet this person to learn how I can build my faith to that level.

OP, you can't learn faith from another person. Pray for it, ask the Lord to increase your faith to that level. He will answer you, be persistent and keep asking until you receive it.

Not true. Yahshua was a teacher. He taught how to have a relationship with God, and He taught about faith. All the prophets were teachers and they taught about faith. Not too mention the apostles who did the same thing. Those who followed them learned something of faith about God. People go to church to learn about God. I personally believe that elders have much to teach when it comes to life, and more so if that life is around God.

I know perfectly well that faith comes from God. If you haven't figured it out, this is my prayer to God for faith. To send me a teacher to learn about their faith so that I can know what to ask for when I ask to have that faith to trust Him for everything. That is what is really involved with my request.

I guess I could wake up tomorrow and have the faith I am looking for, but how long would it last. From what I have learned, God builds on foundations and sends teachers to help with stumbling blocks. And when He builds it lasts.

To say, "God give me faith", doesn't seem to cut it. I have learned that the level of desire has a lot to do with the level of response. What are you willing to do for what you want from God? Not that it is about works, but more how deep does it go in your heart.

Thank you for sharing in my prayer.

OP, what I'm trying to share with you is that it's not about words or learning, it's a change in the heart and mind of a person. Faith is belief and trust.

The prayer for faith is powerful. Praying for faith, praying for a change in heart, praying to be used as His vessel, to be used to do His will on earth. Prayers must be inline with His perfect will, and not our own selfish desires.

Prayer is the key and the Holy Spirit is the teacher that you are asking for. The Holy Spirit is the comforter, the instructor and our guide. Men are fallible, but the Holy Spirit isn't.

It all starts with 'words and learning'. Who do you know that had a change of heart without some type of words or learning. Prayers are words for a start.

I know what you are saying, but parroting the typical Christian's doctrine of faith, is in my mind a bit like milk for food instead of meat.

I know what I want. And I know what I am asking. However, I could be asking wrong or with the wrong motive and so, based on my faith, I am hoping the Holy Spirit will guide me to the correct way to ask. Whether He wants to hit me with a bolt of lightening or have a child walk up to me and say a word that makes me change, does not matter. I am looking. God sees my heart and no one else does.

I know you think you are here to try and help me out, I appreciate that, however, have you considered the possibility that I may be here to help you out?
