This is done to stop outsiders from poking around and to limit building, drilling, and mining above. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21931562 National parks and indian reservation fall under federal jurisdictions. Ehh few things wrong with that. One many people that disappear do so close to their house, or when they're going about their normal week to week business. Two...so we don't want people close to our complex? I KNOW let's kidnap a kid or single person which draws hundreds to thousands of people that will scour every inch of a few miles out for weeks. Also a lot of these area's people still travel through all the time. Another thing some kids are seen from a different view from the times of disappearances no military personnel is ever seen with them. Another thing a lot of time tracker dogs track them going up elevations, and not down. Another thing what's the explanation of the dogs simply not doing anything when brought out? Sorry don't like your theory at all, way too many holes in it. |

There is one researcher, a woman, that is a guest from time to time. There are multiple sightings on east coast and I think she said she's investigated a few on west coast if I'm remembering correctly. In the last show I heard on it the researcher told of a couple seeing it from their front yard at night. It was standing just outside their front fence and when it left they said it's speed was amazing. It would be interesting to compare maps of these disappearances to sightings of both the big foot and the wolf creature (and maybe any other crypto-type creatures). I keep thinking of those two children that survived. One said a bear carried it away & the other said a wolf. I have to listen to the shows again to get their ages & that might tell us something. The older might be the more accurate. Idn. And one said the creature (forget if it was bear or wolf) even gave them berries to eat. And the tracking dogs & their behaviour is interesting. Are they too scared to track it? Or does the creature not have a scent at all so when it picks up its prey and carries it the person's scent is lost also? Or does the creature fly? Does it go in and out of our physical reality? And then there is the connection to water (streams/rivers) that the author points out. As far as big foot goes I have read accounts from Native Americans that say they have lived near them without incidents. But maybe there are other Native American accounts of these odd disappearances amongst them. So much to look at. Where to start? Just so many possibilities but think it's worth looking beyond big foot. Has anyone read the book? Maybe the researcher covers more of this in his book. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 13039567 11/23/2012 02:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Could be abductions from multi dimensional beings? What many are calling 'aliens'? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 801546 I was abducted at 14, and to this day, only remember a FEW things about it. Since I came back, I've had an illness that has been getting progressively worse over teh past 12 years (I'm 26 now). Also had strange marks on my back, still there to this day. Anyway, my point is, much of what you described: people disappearing and re-appearing miles away, missing time, unable to recall what happened, small children, etc. This is all common in abductions. Whatever it is, VERY scary indeed. Ive heard many people claim that the name of Jesus Christ stops alien abductions. I'm just saying what I've heard, do with that what you will lol. |

| lupa14714 User ID: 23350068 11/23/2012 06:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Let's say big foot did exist for sure. Do you think they could pull off these feats? I really am not sure maybe packing around kids, but being that fast and leaving no traces of any struggle at all? And sometimes being so delicate with those abducted? Quoting: Mrbillybadass This is just in my imagination but when I think of some of these abductions I get more of an image of something like in the movie "Predator" more than I do of bigfoot. Whatever the creature may be it is stealth & swift. Some of these people disappeared while walking in a group of people. In some of these incidents they just walk ahead around a turn in the path and they are gone! And their companions never see/hear a thing. - mmmn, that's what comes to mind.it's connected to what/whoever ufo's are.i've had many strange things of this nature happen here, with an old army mate, and my ex,navy hubby.also what guy said about the huge rips over their bodies,we have all had many slashes on us from nowhere, thats why i took pics of all of us.can afford vidcam next week. church of euthanasia. |

Forgot to log in when on earlier today. Anyway, I found the researcher's name I was talking about - Linda Godfrey. She's seems to be a regular guest on c2c and here are two of her websites: [link to www.beastofbrayroad.com] [link to lindagodfrey.com] Well, I'm going to try to listen to both shows again about the odd disappearances this weekend (and note the 2 surviving children's ages). It's been awhile and I'm sure there's things I missed the first time when they first aired. |

Wow, interesting. I'd love to hear more specifics. Have you heard of crypto-sightings in your area such as man/wolf, bigfoot, etc.? Or had there been UFO sightings in the area that you experienced this? |
