NASA to release "earth shattering" news about a discovery by the Mars rover

I'm so tired of NASA claiming earth shaking news and being let down over nothing. They do this every year about now so congress will continue to pour millions of dollars their way for nothing.

I HATE NASA's "big" announcements. They are always saying they found something, but it always turns out to be of little importance.

You're jaded by the SiFi channel. You need to understand we've never confirmed life outside of the planet Earth before. You may not think it's a big deal, but in the scientific community this is the Holy Grail.

I have thought that as well. Part of what makes me think that is the landing systems would be very difficult to make work. So I lean toward thinking that they're already on earth.

I'm going to have to agree that this announcement is most likely bullshit. These guys make a huge commotion about nothing to keep the funding coming. What a waste of money.
