Israel stated that the success of Pillar of Cloud will be measured in months, not days. They fully plan on ignoring the occasional rocket, to satisfy the international community who tried so hard to save the Palestinians.
If after a few months, there is any significant rocket fire on any given day, Israel's gonna blow it's top, and I don't think Netanyahu will back down to Obama at that point.
Oh btw: In exchange for stopping the ground invasion, Obama understands that Netanyahu is going to BLOW UP SMUGGLING EFFORTS FROM IRAN AND ELSEWHERE.
Yes that means for the first time, Israel has the "green light" to actively take out smuggling operations before they reach the Gaza border. That's the real story IMO. Can you say dead Iranians?
Just wait until smuggling is observed coming from Egypt. Morsi is gonna have some really REALLY bad days.

And just because Israel said "months" instead of "days", that doesn't mean a damn thing.
