Just don't start wearing Doc Martens and a flight jacket. You'll be mistaken for a skinhead. I had a completely bald head for a couple of years and even then some immigrants reacted to me with fear or hate, because they thought I was a neo-nazi.

Enjoy the hair you have while you still have it, you'll end up bald soon enough in life.

Don't shave against the direction your hair grows in until your head gets used to the razor

DO NOT use a cheap ass clipper/razor. I am balding and that is why I decided to cut my hair really short this summer. I chose the first day of my vacation. Only problem was I had this cheap ass no good clipper I had bought and it kind of broke down after like the half of my head was done. I tried to cut short the rest of my hair with a knife but I ended up looking like a concentration camp escapee...LOL
In the end I just wet shaved my head completely - wow, that was quite extreme...
I do have a quality clipper now and keep it to something between 3 and 5 mm short.
Oh, and since winter is approaching, get a good hat/cap/whatever to keep your head warm!
