What I see happening instead is 'they' whoever do not like the Christian concept of giving Thanks to God or the colonial foundings of Thanksgiving so they have stomped all over it more and more with Christmas. Christmas is a Catholic holiday that was not even observed in early America; in some states all the way until the Civil War. |
