Unfortunately, this is sometimes the case for my household. I have lost 40 lbs in the last year and a half, trying to cut back and save so my kids get a decent meal. Some days I eat only eat crackers, oatmeal, or ramen noodles so my kids get to eat normal meals. I make enough for them. I don't get foodstamps, and there isn't much left after paying bills
