| Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1212477 11/22/2012 06:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am being told I am a horrible person because I ran out of time, energy, and extra money to save a relative's house from re-entering foreclosure. I was able to stave off their foreclosure myself for 6 months by working with their bank (paying 1/2 their mortgage for 6 months) while simultaneously working for free on their house to prep it for sale. I just couldn't pull it off. The house is nowhere near being ready to show. It has so many problems. Now the foreclosure process is starting again and the homeowner is attacking me for failing. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 28268593 11/22/2012 07:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, it happened about 17 hours ago. I got sucker punched (literally) by my boyfriend, who I'd been helping organize the 'perfect' Thanksgiving for his family. His family lives a good 400 miles away and they arrived yesterday evening. I'd been helping get his home into tip top shape, and cooking some things for them. I'm not really sure what provoked him to hit me, I was just sitting on the sofa and WHAM! When I came to, I ran. At first it was just a HUGE knot like the size of a golf ball on my cheek. Over night the swelling has gone down (a very little bit), it's changing colors (Blueish black), my left eye is bruised the most, and somehow he whacked me so hard my right eye is beginning to bruise as well... I can't help but cry. I'd been trying so hard, I wanted a good 'family-style' Thanksgiving too - my family doesn't do holidays (they spend all their money on drugs) and it's been so long since I've just been able to sit around the dinner table with NORMAL people... I don't know what I did... Well... I hope they enjoy the pecan pie, and green bean casserole... PS: Sorry, I REALLY just needed to vent. |

Was the moron 'play punching' or was he trying to hurt you? Either way, that asshole is probably going to do it again. Some sick, twisted guys out there. Don't try to find an explanation. More likely there is no explanation. You just need to get away. |

Thanksgiving is an INFAMOUS time for conflicts, and actual fistfights between neighbors and family members... people are in close proximity when they havent been; drunk, and all the shit comes out. Keep Thanksgivings either very large or very small. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7798721 Yep. To be helped. You're probably in a state of defense like a wounded animal. No biggie. But yes, we have no ability to discern ego from higher spirit on this planet. Wake up. If we could, we would silence the ego and just allow help. There is something in the way, a personal preference that doesn't want to let go. |

I stopped the car, got out and tried to help him up. Well he started to pull me down. Since I was 7 months along with my 2nd child that wasn't very hard. Just then a police car pulled up,the officer helped me up and I was out of there. Since it was daylight in a business parking lot it was more like a drunken fumble. But I won't do that again. Behind every myth lies a mystery, and every legend holds an echo of the truth …… anonimalle " At the siege of Vienna in 1683 Islam seemed poised to overrun Christian Europe.
