Potential Impacts: Area of impact primarily poleward of 55 degrees Geomagnetic Latitude.
Induced Currents - Power grid fluctuations can occur. High-latitude power systems may experience voltage alarms.
Spacecraft - Satellite orientation irregularities may occur; increased drag on low Earth-orbit satellites is possible.
Radio - HF (high frequency) radio propagation can fade at higher latitudes.
Aurora - Aurora may be seen as low as New York to Wisconsin to Washington state."

It's starting....

After months the sunspots are coming back to life,could be a very intersting next couple of weeks wash!

I had a strange to us young cat show up here right before the Frankenstorm event.

Alf the alien cat is still with us even though the storm never effected us really other than some snow about 10-12 inches and melted away fast.

Now I have gotten another cat show up here about 3-4 days ago.
This is a valley cat a wandering valley cat he has been seen down below us for quiet some time.

Yet now this low lying cat dweller is up here determined to hide under our house. He is trying to get in around the heat pump.

He has never done this and does not want petted or food but sheltered.

My inside cats are eating and acting like they know or feel a storm coming but we have not got any storm.

This has been a week now of the cats acting pre-bad weather and one fleeing the valley for the top of the mountain.

We had a EQ strike not 28 minutes from here the other day...but here at my house I never even knew it or felt anything.

I heard about it in the news.

I do not know what is coming in whether we are going to be getting flooding of some sort or ice snow and flooding..

But I think and suspect flooding...

South up to us.

Could be. Time will tell.
