Let me ask you guys something. Why the fuck would we be concerned with Islamic burial rituals when burying a mass murderer? Bin Laden was partially responsible for 3000 deaths on 9/11 and several thousand others. They buried him at sea like some great general or military hero. What a bunch of bullshit. This whole story of burial at sea should have raised a bunch of red flags but the media didn't even care. There is so much mystery surrounding the entire Bin Laden raid and subsequent burial at sea that it is clear, at least to me, that none of it happened. The entire thing was a fabrication of the Oblabla administration.

One more thing to add. After the various Taliban and Saddam leaders were killed, did they ever report how they were buried? Of course not. So why was this burial story concocted? So that no one would ask to see the body. It is clear that this entire Bin Laden capture never happened.

yes, and add to that, the reasoning not to release photos was some bullshit about not wanting to upset muslims, if i remember correctly. not to mention that such photos never existed as far as what the article of the newly released emails says... and, it didn't stop them from releasing photos of sadamms sons after they were murdered...

You make a great point about the photos of Saddam's sons being released but not Bin Laden's. How it is that no one in the media cares is beyond me. What does the admin have on the media that no one speaks against Obama? Even the old school media hounds like Dan Rather are following along, lock-step. It is very unnerving because if the admin decides to turn on the citizens of this country in a major way, the media will just let it happen.

there is no more real journalism. it is all controlled today. just look at paul craig roberts who was the father or reaganonmics and later an editor of the wall street journal. he talks about 911 being an inside job, as well as the real deal with the economy and the banker bailout scams, but nobody publishes him anymore. he is too credible to call crazy and marginalize like charlie sheen, etc, so they just choose to ignore him and not publish him.

i think, these days, the higher ups in all the media conglomerates control everything. from the editors on up, they decide what is news and what isn't, and they "train" their journalist to report what the editors want, and to spin it the way the editors want. it is done rather skillfully--through manipulation and psychology in some instances, unless the journalist is a bought out shill already.

for example, if the journalist publishes something that strays from the talking points, the editor might send the article back, and tell the so-called journalist that the angle is wrong, maybe punishing them for not doing a good job. but when the so-called journalist follows the talking point, they get a pat on the back. eventually the "bad" journalists get fired and the "good" ones get promoted. this is easy these days because the incredibly few corps owning most of the news and media outlets--something that wasn't the case 20 years ago when there was regulation not allowing this to happen... it is an interesting thing to research. you can google things like, "who owns the news" or "who owns the media"

Even some of the most hard core defenders of the US gov't have said that this entire story smells of bullshit. Speaking of fake OBL videos, remember the one that came out a few days before the '04 election that gave Bush the needed push to beat Kerry? How convenient.

I have a feeling that at one time a guy name Osama Bin Laden existed, maybe back in the 1980s during the Afghan/Soviet war. However, he was probably killed in battle during those days. Later, the US with the help of CGI experts working for the CIA concocted the myth that we knew as Osama Bin Laden. Did you guys ever notice how poor the video quality of the OBL videos was? Remember that high quality camcorders are available world wide so why would OBL's videos be so shitty? They were purposely done that way so that the CGI part of it would not show through. The CIA probably had CGI experts from LucasFilm contracted to do the videos. After producing the videos, the experts probably met untimely "accidents" so that they could not be witnesses.

I actually have looked into who owns the major news outlets and something like five companies control 95% of the media. It is ridiculous to say the least. The one thing that those companies fear more than anything is the internet. There is no way to control the internet like they control the media. So they keep coming up with social media sites like MySpace, Facebook, and back in the day, AOLOnline to concentrate internet traffic and spew their rhetoric there. However, those things have not been very successful so the word about how crooked the gov't is keeps getting out. As the people turn more and more to the internet for news, the MSM is being marginalized. Soon no one will listen to the MSM and the government's house of cards will fall in on them.

i think OBL was around and working for the cia (in one way or another) until his death in 2002. then, after that, they faked the videos and recordings...

It is possible that at some point OBL decided to no longer comply with the CIA and they killed him. Then after that, they CGI'ed him. Funny how two wars now, Vietnam and the Iraq/Afghan/Middle-East have been fought against two leaders who were former CIA operatives. Ho Chi Minh was a US operative who fought alongside the US to liberate Vietnam from French rule. OBL fought alongside US-backed rebels against the Soviets in Afghanistan. Funny isn't it? Funny indeed.
